25.01.2022 St Andrew's students in years 3 to 7 enjoyed their Sports Day Finale recently, and the Junior Primary students had a blast at their Sports Day. All students gave it their all and there was no shortage of cheers and smiles. Smith won the house cup at the Finale! Congratulations!

We hope all of the St Andrew's extended family are keeping well and staying safe during these challenging times. Please contact us via email with any questions, feedback or concerns. #TogetherWeAreStAndrews
23.01.2022 http:// SCHOOL TO RESUME ON MONDAY // As per communication sent to families earlier today, the Government has announced that as of 12:01am on Sunday 22 November, we will revert to similar restrictions that were in place on Monday 16 November 2020, bringing an end to the six-day "circuit-breaker" lockdown. The lifting of these restrictions means that St Andrew's School and ELC will be returning on Monday 23 November for normal face-to-face learning.... Check your email for further info. #TogetherWeAreStAndrews

22.01.2022 Once again, our Year 7 students embarked on the annual Bike Hike today. The riders departed from St Andrew’s School and made their way to Henley Beach, along the Torrens Linear Path. At the beach, the students had a chance to relax and re-fuel, before they hopped back on their bikes for their return journey. It’s fair to say that they will rest well tonight!
21.01.2022 On Remembrance Day this year, Our Year 7s placed handmade poppies our Walkway of Heroes Memorial. The Returned Services League of Australia (Walkerville) invited St Andrew’s School to their Remembrance Day Service at the Walkerville Memorial Gardens on Church Terrace. All of our Year 7 students participated and the Prefects laid a wreath on behalf of the School.
19.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS Students from years 4-6 represented St Andrew’s School at the Australian Mind Olympics Tournament, held at St Andrew’s School this Monday. Our two teams, made up of students that were winners or runners-up in the school tournament earlier in the year, finished first and second place! St Andrew’s dominated the competition, with most individuals winning or coming in second place for their individual games, on top of the team success.
18.01.2022 http:// FROM THE SCHOOL CHAPLAIN // During this time of uncertainly, worry, confusion and even hostility we can all come together as one. This is an event we have never experienced before, let’s not get caught up in the emotions that surround us, but support each other through this. We can only control some things, like the emotional health of our inner circle. We do this by being tolerant, patient, loving towards others and giving to those less fortunate. ... The whole world is vulnerable and in the greatest need of hope. We are all going to travel the up and downs and the changes we need to keep our family and loved ones safe. Now is not the time to be angry, selfish, greedy, uncompassionate, inconsiderate. It is the time to bring back pure compassion, treating everyone around us with unconditional love and respect. For those of faith; So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10. Grace, peace and love to all, Rev’d Rachel #TogetherWeAreStAndrews
17.01.2022 The Receptions were very bubbly at a science incursion yesterday, when Marty McBubble popped in. There were rainbow bubbles, ice-cream bubbles, merry-go-round bubbles, and much more! #saswalkerville #bubbles #reception #science

10.01.2022 The St Andrew's CARE (Community, Action, Reconciliation, Equity) Club has donated backpacks full of donated essential items to The Magdalene Centre. Hugo and Sophie, with Mrs Phillips helped deliver the much needed provisions. The students gained a real insight into the plight of the homeless in our community. It was a wonderful example of student agency in action. #saswalkerville #CAREclub #backpacksforhomeless
06.01.2022 Well done to the Year 4s on a wonderful Market Day! As part of their unit of inquiry into business, the Year 4 students develop a business selling various products and services. They then showcase and sell these items at an annual Market Day. Due to the heat, the Market was moved into the classrooms to keep everyone cool.
