13.01.2022 Good morning peeps!! Monday 19 Oct we held our AGM for the Stanhope Show, Shine & Swap Meet. I would like to thank everyone who attended, it was very nice to see such a strong showing of folks keen to get on board for our next event. ... Office results came back as President - Mandi Goddard Vice President- Mathew Holmes Secretary - Rhoni Halliwell Treasurer - Donna Donders Back is up with both the familiar and new faces of Des Crichton, Lynne Emmett, Dean Brewis, Darcy Thomas, Will Ponton, Gary Rout, Jamie Prolongeau, Jimmy Phelan, Avis Weller, Dale Donnahugh, After a vote, at this stage we are planing to run this awesome community fundraiser on Sunday 7 March( long wknd in March) of course this will depend on COVID restrictions by then. We are currently putting together some amazing sponsorship packages and all of last years sponsors will be contacted shortly plus some new ones too. If you would like to sponsor this incredible day shoot us a message. Cheers for now Mandi

Thank you to the over 50 volunteers who helped in the planning and running on the day. A big pat on the back to our committee who worked round the clock (especially closer to the event) to bring our best event so far. An even bigger pat on the back to our fabulous sponsors who without them we would not have the financial ability to bring you this event. Early feedback so far suggest some small very constructive changes we could put in place for next year. Figures will be released after our debriefing meeting next week but are looking good. 05.01.2022 Due to COVID 19 we are postponing our AGM. However, we are hoping that by next year we will able to hold the 2021 event. Therefore we still need to plan.... That’s where you come in....... All community groups involved in the 2020 event will be contacted to come on board again for 2021 and also be part of the planning process that is our committee. This is an event that raises funds for our local community and surrounds and without your help we cannot do it. Come on board and have a go and be part a record breaking event All office positions will be open and nominations to be forwarded to Lynne Emmet either via this page or by emailing [email protected] If we get the green light for next years event it is going to take a lot of hands on deck in a short period of time to put on such a community event that has been growing every year.
