19.01.2022 Good Morning, just a reminder that the JSJ Seafood Nut Cup is coming up very soon so please ring the club to get your names in. Please call the Club House on 64581395 any time after 3pm or our Captain Shane Martin on 0407518628 you MUST provide your Golf Link number when you ring your entry through. Also would like to let people know that the RV camping area next to the Golf Club has had the grass re-sown so campers are welcome to use the adjacent recreation ground area for... the time being. If you would like any more information on this please feel free to call the club house any time after 3pm on 64581395 or 0439145974 and we will be happy to answer any questions. Friday night we have our raffles, membership draw and $2 draw so come and try your luck draws start at 6.30pm. 15.01.2022 Good afternoon, on the Sunday of the Nut Cup weekend we will be having meals here at the club. The Forest Stanley Footy Club will be putting on a roast with veggies. Could we please ask any golfers that are interested in having a meal to please put your names down to help with numbers. You can call the club on 64581395 anytime after 3pm up until 6pm. For the Friday and Saturday night if you are wanting to eat out there is the option of Hurseys Seafood Restaurant or the Stanley Hotel, because both places have been very busy we suggest you book in a few days prior to the Nut Cup weekend Cheers

14.01.2022 Good Morning, We are very excited to announce that our toilet renovations have nearly come to an end, the toilets will be up and running by Friday! So this Friday 31st July we have decided to start our Friday night Raffles, M/Ship draw and $2 draw again. Please be aware that there are a few Covid-19 rules that are still in place that need to be followed, they are: - You MUST sign in with your name, address, and Phone number on entry to the Club. - You MUST be seated at all t...imes unless you are waiting at the bar for service. This means NO standing around tables or the bar at all. This rule must be followed or the Golf Club could receive a hefty fine if we are found to be doing the wrong thing. Bar staff should not be expected to constantly remind people to remain seated as this can become very frustrating after a while. There is seating at the bar but it is limited, also can the service are please be kept clear. - You must also practice social distancing of 1.5m where practicable. These rules are very easy to comply with so I'm sure for the safety of everyone no body will have a problem following them. So come down on Friday night and try your luck on a meat tray or some cash, have a nice cold beer and catch up. See more

13.01.2022 Good afternoon, Just an update on the new restrictions that have been announced, unfortunately here at the Club nothing changes, we are still only allowed 20 patrons in each room, with 1.5m social distancing and 4 square meters per person, so trading hours will remain the same and there will be no raffles or draws on Friday nights until further notice.

13.01.2022 Good afternoon, I am very excited to announce that we have started renovating our bathrooms. Because of this the entry and exit to the bar will be the dance floor side door only. There is a porta-loo out in the car park for use, remember this will be a uni-sex toilet so please be mindful of other patrons and leave it in a clean and tidy state after use. Because there is only one toilet to use we will not be having raffle nights until the bathrooms are completed. Jandy

08.01.2022 What an Amazing weekend of fun and Golf we had over the Nut Cup Long Weekend!! We will post full results a little later, however, major results for the weekend as Follows The Winner (His 3rd Nut Cup) Jack Lakin winning the nett award off a +1 handicap is an amazing effort, ... with scores Jack Lakin 66+62=128 gross, 130 Nett On a count back from Brian Stokes 130 Nett In the Circular head open Scratch award, it was truely a battle for the ages with the amazing field of Scratch or better golfers. But when it was all said and done it came down to the young and the old, with Jack lakin ans Craig Hancock Shooting the lights out on Monday in truely one of the best scratch battles the Stanley Golf Club has ever witnessed, Jack birdying the 17th hole to tie the scores up, both made pars on the final hole to finish -4 par for the 36 hole event, They then went for a 3 hole play off where eventually Craig Hancock prevailed in an amazing finish. Congratulations to both Jack and Craig on an amazing weekend of amazing Golf, We thank all of our sponsors and players for making this an amazing long weekend in what has been a truely challenging year for everyone

04.01.2022 Good morning Saturday we had our club foursomes championships. The weather was a big on the rough side with strong winds and misty rain, but we had a great turn out. The winners of the day were Father and Son duo John and Jack Lakin with a fine 27 hole gross total score of 102 and R/up were Kade Bellinger and Tyler Kadow with a gross total score of 112. Good day was had by all!
