24.01.2022 Prepare yourself and your caravan for the winter by installing a diesel heater. I have installed this model heater into our caravan to test its performance and reliability, so far has been great compared to other branded heater systems that can cost around $3000 installed. This performs just as well and will cost you around $950 fully installed into most models of caravans. 16.01.2022 Keep warm in the cold winter months when travelling in your caravan or motor home by installing a diesel heater. It is very efficient and will run of 12 volt power supply I installed this generic diesel heater into our caravan and so far it has been excellent. To give you an example of cost difference for a brand name diesel heater expect to pay around $2000.00 for the basic kit plus installation cost. This one I fitted to our van cost me $500.00... Including a 10 litre diesel tank. I have installed lots of the well known brand heaters in the past and can say they look exactly the same and noise wise, seems the same. 09.01.2022 The first two photos show the result from taking an off road camper trailer, off road. Sticks and rocks get caught and damage the brake wiring. If you are planning to do this, it is best to get wiring to the brake system secured and protected, including soldering all connections. Many camper trailers and caravans have wire connectors that come apart easily when they get caught. It’s always good practice to check underneath when you’ve been off road, to make sure nothing has become stuck or hosing and/or wiring has been dislodged.
