18.01.2022 FEAST OF THE MOST SACRED HEART Boxes have been place in front of each classroom. The purpose of this is to fill it up with any non-perishable foods that will then be collected by Vinnies to distribute to the poor. Poverty is still a very real problem in our society, and East Kew and its surrounds is no exception. Please be generous and donate to this worthy cause-otherwise known as the Feast of the Sacred Heart (formerly known as Poorman’s Mass). We would love to see the boxes overflowing with generous donations from all our St Anne’s families. I thank you all in anticipation.

18.01.2022 World Teachers Day Thank you to our wonderful St Anne's families for the lovely morning tea and generous gifts presented to our teachers today. We were overwhelmed when the students rushed in this morning with cards, flowers and good wishes. We really appreciate the sentiments after such a challenging year.... Best wishes St Anne's staff.

Keep well. Kind regards Greg James

14.01.2022 Vinnies Annual Christmas Fare, Toy and Gift Appeal The Vinnies Annual Christmas Fare, Toy and Gift Appeal for 2020 has commenced. They are asking for suitable gifts (new-not pre loved) wrapped, marked and identified for either boys or girls (suggested ages between 6-12 years of age), or adult male and female gifts (toiletry items/chocolates are always greatly appreciated). In the past the school community’s support in assisting with this appeal has been extraordinary. It has ...resulted in many families enjoying a happier Christmas as a result of the generosity exhibited by the school community. We would be most grateful for your support again this year. Please look out for boxes that will be placed in front of your child’s classroom door in the next couple of weeks. Some examples of what we would like to collect are listed below: .Reusable shopping bag, Christmas serviettes (preferably Christmas themed) and 2 bottles soft drink / mineral water .Box tea bags and a packet of sweet biscuits .Christmas pudding or mince tarts, jar of coffee .Tinned ham or tuna/ Reusable shopping bag (preferably Christmas themed) and 2 bottles soft drink / mineral water .2 packets chips or savoury biscuits, box of chocolates .Bag of pasta and bottle of pasta sauce .Or any other ‘christmas’ themed foods/household items. It is very important that only non-perishable items are donated. All food items must have a long use-by date, at least until 2021. Please check the dates on all biscuits, crackers and snacks before placing them in the box. In anticipation, we thank you for making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate than us.
