24.01.2022 Thanks everyone for following this page. This page will be used to notify the public of what is going on at the golf club, results, what's coming up and news. This Saturday the 13th will be the first of four rounds of the club championships. Tee off from 11:30-12:00

23.01.2022 Couple days between posts but were full steam ahead with the Covid restrictions easing. Results from 27-6. Foursomes was the round with 12 teams competing and a further 3 playing for handicap. Winners of the day were Simon Anderson and Sam Harris (85-63)... Runners up were Ash Hodge and Rhys Brundell (77-66.5) NTP 7&16: no one NTP 2&11: Scott Helmore Long Drive 9&18: Rhys Brundell Results from 4-7. A Stableford round was contested by 16 players in some nice weather. Winner of the day: Scott Helmore (34pts) Runner up: Shane South (33pts) NTP 2&11: Ian McEwan NTP 7 &16: No one This Saturday 11-7 is the second round of club championships. A BBQ dinner and comfort fire (weather permitting) will follow the round. Family and friends welcomed and encouraged to join for drinks and tea. 23.01.2022 Saturday the 12th Stansbury golf club ventured south to Wool Bay to contest the Ruxton/Tucker Shield. A good number turned out for what was quite interesting weather. Sweating for the first 3 holes and then misty rain stuck around for the rest of the day. Damian Lehmann continued his hot form finishing with a -1 65 (38 points). Also winning the putts with 20.... Zac Bertoldi 1 point back (37 points) Scott Helmore also with a handy (36 points) Deon Heidereich won fairways with (15) Bev Patterson won the ladies comp with (31 points Runner up was Di Forrest with (30 points) Least putts Di Forrest (24) Most fairways Joy leathely (12) Stansbury had an average Stableford score of 31.84 Woolbay had an average of 29.12 Congratulations Stansbury on defending the Ruxton Tucker Shield.

21.01.2022 Today we played the 3rd round of the club championships which 26 players competed. Long drive: Liam Zeller (291m) NTP 2-11: Captain Lehmann Super hole: jackpot up to $65... Runner up: Damian Lehmann (67) Winner: Bodi Warwick (58) Congrats to Bodi for shooting an 88 off the stick off a 30 handicap. Next Saturday will be the 4th round of club championships. 20.01.2022 A small working bee was held to replace the rest of the old artificial tee blocks on the course today. Thanks to Simon, Rhys, Zac and Damian (myself) for getting the job done.

19.01.2022 Todays stableford round was contested by 18 players in calm conditions. A great win by Jesse Bertoldi with 40 points and runner up was Ron Hillier with 37 points. Nearest the pin was won by Graham Klose and the longest putt went to Michael Dee. Next week is the Ruxton/Tucker Shield at Wool Bay. All welcome for 12:00 noon start, its a great day. Finally congratulations to Captain Damian Lehmann (67off the stick) who won the YP Champion of Champions at Curramulka today also with A grade long drive. Bodi Warwick c grade long drive (longest drive of the day). Simon Anderson unfortunately just missing runner up in b grade losing in a 4 way count back with an 83 off the stick.

18.01.2022 Another productive Sunday at the club with our bunkers being rejuvenated. Thanks to Simon for the use and operation of the loader and to Rhys and Damian for supplying the man power. The bunkers actually look like bunkers now thanks to them. PS. Don't be too angry at them when you hit a bad shot and have to play out of them. A foursomes competition will be played this Saturday the 27th, find a partner or get out with someone on the day. ... #captainredbeard

17.01.2022 August the 29th in beautiful sunshine but quite breezy conditions. The club championships were played and a Stableford round were held afterwards. Congratulations to Damian Lehmann who defeated Liam Zeller 3&2 Congratulations to Simon Anderson who defeated Rhys Brundell 4&3... In the Stableford round Scott Helmore won on a count back from lachlan Varricchio with 33 points. Next week Damian, Simon and Bodi will be heading to curramulka for the champs of champs. A Stableford round will be held at stansbury. The following week (11th of September) will be the annual grumpy's 3 stick competition. Good golfing and many cold beers in celebration. 16.01.2022 Saturday 22nd was the c grade club championship Grand final over 27 holes. Zac Bertoldi vs Bodi Warwick. A tight game was contested and Bodi Warwick won 1up. A Stableford round was also played with 11 players. Winner: Michael Dee 45 points Runner up: Gerald Anderson 34 points... Long drive under 60: Scott Helmore Long drive over 60: Richard Smith Damian, Liam and Adrian competed at the Sa Sandgreens Tournament at Tumby Bay. Unfortunately none good enough to walk away with prizes. A great weekend though. This Saturday is the A and B grade championships teeing off from 10:30 playing best of 27. A grade. Winner of the day: Mitch Goody 37pts Runner up on count back: Damian Lehmann 37pts Yet again nearest to pin did not go off... Longest drive: Bodi Warwick Special mention to Damian Lehmann for shooting 2 over after 3 putting 17 and a double bogey on 18.

08.01.2022 18 players played a Stableford round in stunning conditions. Long drive - Zac Bertoldi NTP 2&11 - no one Super NTP 7&16 - no one, jack pots to $45... Runner up - Peter Hannaford (39 points) Winner - Liam Zeller (40 points) Massive congratulations to Liam Zeller who shot a 65 off the stick which is a new course record. One group also hit all 4 balls on the same scrape. The next 2 weeks will be the 3rd and 4th round of club championships. Tea to follow both weeks.

08.01.2022 Thanks to Redding Crushing and their fabulous driver Shannon for delivering 13tonne of Clinton play pit sand. This will be used to rejuvenate our "bunkers".

Winner of the day: Tom Rankine (75-62) Runner up: Simon Anderson (82-67) Honorable mention to Gerald Anderson (102-68)... NTP 2-11: no one NTP 7-16: Tom Rankine Putts: Ash Hodge (20) Honorable mention to Tom Rankine (21) Long Long drive: Liam Zeller The Super NTP did not go off so a total of $18 jackpots to next week. 03.01.2022 The semi finals were held today in superb conditions. (Two rain clouds that dropped 6mm) other than that blue skies. Liam Zeller played Ash Hodge in which turned out to be a great game. Liam ended up victorious on the 4th extra hole. Shane South played Rhys Brundell. Rhys victorious 6&4... Simon Anderson played Ron Hillier and won 4&3 Bodi Warwick played Jesse Bertoldi and won 1 up on the last Zac Bertoldi played against Guido Varricchio and won 2&1 Next Saturday the 22nd Liam and Damian will be heading to tumby bay to compete in the State sandgreens.
