Many thanks to the Year 2 students and their teachers for preparing the liturgy and to Fr Bob for celebrating with us. 18.01.2022 Today is the feast of St Anthony of Padua, our patron saint. We celebrated at the college yesterday with lots of activities designed to help us learn a little bit more about this special saint and how he guides us to make the world a better place. Fr Bob joined us in the afternoon and we celebrated Mass - Covid style - zoomed to all classes and posted on Seesaw so all our families could join with us. Happy Feast Day everyone!

15.01.2022 Today we celebrated the feast of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop - Australia's first saint. Representatives from each class joined Fr Bob for Mass in the church, while the remaining students and a number of parents joined us via Zoom. It was wonderful to hear about the story of Mary's life and her efforts in educating children from poor Catholic families who could not afford to go to school. Mary died on August 8th, 1909. She was canonised a saint in October 2010.

We wish him all of God's blessings for his next adventure at Domus Australia in Rome, and we will be eternally grateful that "Bob the Builder" was sent to Austral to establish our college community.
