24.01.2022 Afternoon all. In a bid to make things a bit easier for juniors and their parents to get information and for coaches to get the information out to players, we have created the St Anthony's CC Juniors group. All junior related information and materials is going to be posted in there so parents and players aren't having to sift through a pile of senior related posts to find what they're looking for. If you are a parent, junior player or coach of a junior team, please search for... the group, and send a request to be added. We are expecting a fair bit of Information to coming through in the near future regarding training and competition start dates soon so join the group and keep an eye out for it. 24.01.2022 Good evening all, it is with great pleasure that we announce Wayne Turner as coach of St Anthony's for the 2020/21 Season. 'Wayno' has been a very solid top/middle order batsman for St A's since arriving in the 2015/16 season and has also proven to be a wicket taker with ball in hand at times. Wayne has a great cricket background. Amongst other things, he's coached the Victorian Womens indoor cricket team for a number years very successfully and personally he has represented ...both a Victoria and Australia in indoor cricket as player. Wayne has played 67 Games for St Anthony's. With the bat he has made 1398 runs with a high score of 126 and taken 20 wickets. Please join us in congratulating Wayne on his appointment, we wish him well for the season ahead.

22.01.2022 Jason Craven has recommitted to St A's for the 2020/21 season! We look forward to having 'Barge' around the club again .

21.01.2022 The women start their season this afternoon with a T20 from 1:00pm. If you can spare some time, pop down and show some support, they will appreciate it .

19.01.2022 If you or anyone you know is interested in playing this season there is still time! Junior matches start this coming Friday/Saturday, and senior womens matches start this coming Sunday! If you fit into either of these 2 groups, you have until Tomorrow to register to be eligible for selection.... Senior mens marches start Saturday 21st of November. Senior Men's and Womens training is currently 5:45pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. Junior training varies depending on age group but is currently either Tuesday or Thursday (both for some teams) from 4:30pm. Get in quick! 15.01.2022 Some more good news for St A's with Dawson's recommitting as the clubs major sponsor for 2020/21. Dawson's have supported the club for some time now and we thank them for their support especially now, going through what has been an extremely tough period for most in the last 6 months. With summer coming, all of those creepy crawlies won't be far away so support our major sponsor and call Dawson's if you want them gone.... **The club is still on the lookout for more sponsors for this season and beyond. If you have a business, know of a business or even work for a business that may be interested in sponsoring the club please speak to Julie, Ollie, Marc, or Nat.**

12.01.2022 A big thank you to all that trained this afternoon. It was a good turn out considering it was cup day and was quite warm. It was also great to see quite a few new faces amongst us. Senior training continues Thursday at 5:45pm. Covid protocols mean that we are unable to to begin training until such time as the juniors have all finished up and left (5:30), so should you arrive a little earlier, please wait until closer to 5:45pm before heading around to the check in area near t...he umpires room. Also a reminder that when you arrive, you are to go around passed the social rooms NOT around passed shed. The north end (via social rooms) is the entry and the south end (via shed) is the exit point. We cannot have people walking opposite directions through the same point. 11.01.2022 Registrations have started coming through which is great! Thank you to those that have done so already. If you haven't, please go to the St Anthony's website and do so. There is a $20 fee for seniors and a $5.10 fee for juniors, payable at the time of registration.... You will need your MyCricket ID number and password if you have played/registered before. If you or your child have not been registered at a cricket club before you will need to follow the prompts to create a new MyCricket ID. **If you are registering via a mobile device (Phone or Tablet) it's best to make sure you are in 'Desktop Mode' (you can change this in the browser settings) as there is a confirmation at the end of the registration process that needs to be accepted and you may not be able to access this if not in desktop mode**. http://stanthonyscc.vic.cricket.com.au/home.aspx?

09.01.2022 Hi all. We have recently officially launched our new uniform range for at least the next 2 seasons thanks to SMG Sports. If there are any supporters wanting to purchase any items just let us know and we'll get you sorted .

07.01.2022 Don't forget senior training starts later today at 3:00pm. Looks like a warm one so slip, slip, slap and bring some water to keep hydrated! If you don't have a phone that scans QR codes with the camera, make sure you download a QR code reader beforehand to help make the check in process is quicker .

06.01.2022 Quick post-AGM message: Thanks to those who got online and took part. Julie Burfurd and Marc Turner have been re-elected in their President and Vice President roles. Congrats! New general committee consists of: Warren Haffenden, Jacqui Haffenden, Jaipaul, and Nat Syros. Congrats to you all! The positions of Secretary and Treasurer have not been filled. Clearly, these are critical roles for the club to exist. So, now is the time to really think about whether you could help you...r club in either of these roles, or if you know anyone you think might be suitable. The consequences for the club are dire if these positions remain unfilled for any length of time. 06.01.2022 Due to Covid-19 restrictions, this seasons Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be conducted as an online event, using the Zoom app. It will be held on Tuesday May 26th 2020, at 7:30pm. Details on how to login to the meeting will be posted well in advance, so keep a look out for that. Needless to say, you will need the Zoom app to do so. We will also shortly be providing the Agenda for the meeting, a copy of the constitution, as well as a Proxy form for anyone who wants to utilise these prior to the meeting taking place. As per usual, all committee positions are vacated at the meeting, and people are free to nominate for any position. There will definitely be a need to fill the Secretary position, so keep this in mind for yourself, or someone you think would be suited and capable of this position.

05.01.2022 A reminder to everyone that the AGM is on tonight at 7:30pm via Zoom. We implore every member to try and "attend", it is an important thing for OUR club. Zoom restrictions mean that the meeting can only go for a maximum of 45 minutes, so we will need to be really aware of how the time is spent! 03.01.2022 We think it's fair to say that 'Rocket' is a legend of the club. He has put a great deal of time and effort into helping St A's get to where it is today, committee person, junior development, player, captain you name it he's done it... Unfortunately he's told us his body has decided that he will no longer be pulling on the whites, but has said that he will still be around the club which is great news for St A's. All the best mate.
