25.01.2022 Becoming a STATC member means lots of tennis time, great facilities and lots of fun! Applications via the website. We look forward to seeing you at the club.
24.01.2022 image.png image.png Dear Members,... Following the recent announcement from the Premier, Daniel Andrews, a "State of Disaster" has been declared in Victoria and stage 4 restrictions will be in place from 6:00pm today. This effectively means that the club will be closed for a six week period, until the 13th of September, unless we are advised otherwise. The gate code will be changed and we ask members to respect the committee's decision and the State Government's desire for us to stay at home to reduce the community spread. I know this is an incredibly difficult time for many in our community, and is going to be a tough six weeks, however hopefully these latest restrictions will enable the State to curtail the spread of the virus and enable us to reopen the club and get us all back to playing tennis again. In the meantime stay home, stay safe, and take care of yourself and your loved ones. Regards Anthony Straford President STATC On behalf of St. Anthony's Tennis Club Committee

17.01.2022 URGENT MESSAGE TO MEMBERS COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS STAGE 3 Dear Members As you would be aware, Victoria has seen a rapid spike in COVID-19 cases over the past few days resulting in the Victorian Government reverting Victoria back to Stage 3 lockdown, to try to reduce the spread of the virus.... Whilst this is disappointing for all Victorians, we are however grateful that we as a club are still permitted to remain open and allow our members to play tennis at the present time. As a club we are foremost focused on the safety of our members and therefore require that our members strictly adhere to all the new restrictions in order for us to stay open and provide everyone with the opportunity to access the courts during this lockdown period. I am very pleased with the way our members have conducted themselves so far during the pandemic and know that you will continue to follow all the health guidelines whilst at the club to ensure that everyone remains safe and well. As always, we will monitor and review all state and health regulations, as we are made aware of them, and adjust our plan accordingly. NEW REGULATIONS FROM 11:59pm on Wednesday 8TH JULY The courts will remain open to members only no visitors or guests The clubhouse will be closed from midnight 8th July except for the coach to access equipment and maintenance There will be no access to the toilets All members must book using our online booking system Play will be singles only unless you are in the same household (in line with govt exercise guidelines) The current restriction of only 1.5hr bookings will remain We ask members to refrain from arriving more than 10min before your allocated booking and to leave the club immediately afterwards There will be no club organised social play Social distancing rules of 1.5 metres must be adhered to If you are unwell you must not attend at the club Members will still have the ability to use the courts under lights, in accordance with the above guidelines, as per the last newsletter. i.e. - Members must book first, using the online booking system - Pay the $15 hourly rate into the club bank account - Send a message to 0419 530 159 to arrange the lights to be turned on The club will be monitoring the use of the courts and may look to reduce the booking times or limit the number of bookings per member to ensure all members have fair access to the courts. We thank all members for their continued support during this pandemic and for following all the health guidelines to ensure the health and safety of everyone at the club. Regards Anthony Straford President STATC On Behalf of the Committee STATC
