24.01.2022 You don't have to be a 'Rocket Scientist' to see that this isn't good for your back!! Good posture sitting, standing, lifting and even running helps prevent pain. If you aren't flexible enough, strong enough, or don't move well enough you may need to do something about it. Well designed gym programs, seeing a good Physical Trainer or your Physio can help you sort it out.



22.01.2022 Tight hamstrings are a massive stress on your spine - commonly causing back pain, as well as being the most injured muscle in all forms of football and sprinting sports. In the words of Molly Meldrum (for those old enough to know who he is!) - Do Yourself a Favour - and stretch them!! 3-5 minutes per day helps keep the physio away!!

15.01.2022 If you have a car that isn't running efficiently you can either drive it less so that it doesn't break down - or you can fix it so that it works more efficiently! Our body is the same - if it isn't working properly you can either do less - or you can get it working more efficiently by correcting the dysfunction!! Physio is not all about exercise - by getting your back, legs, shoulders or running assessed and working efficiently you will overcome most problems.



02.01.2022 If you have some part of your body that is sore - there is a good chance your body isn't functioning properly. In this case the body needs treatment to correct dysfunction, then muscle re-eduction to help keep it away. Exercising when in pain doesn't fix problems.
