Southern Victoria, far lower south east SA and Tasmania will avoid the worst of the heat but the very hot conditions will push north into NSW and large parts of Queensland next week. - John.

01.01.2022 *** EXTREME NOVEMBER HEATWAVE TO MOVE NORTH AND EASE AS WE MOVE INTO DECEMBER **** NAEFS model which we find here 95% accurate at giving an outlook on temperatu...res a couple of weeks away is indicating severe heatwave temperatures as a general rule of thumb to ease much of Australia as we move into December. The two reasons for this is a blocking high may form south of Western Australia pushing cooler air well into the continent the other factor may be monsoon conditions starting to build south of Indonesia which may push moisture into the north west part of the country regardless it looks like this November incredible heatwave in some parts of the country is set to ease over the coming week. Temperatures will return closer back to their normal average for December at least the first part of the month, this may be good news those who suffer heat stress. First image: NAEFS model picking up the heatwave several weeks ago for the last week of November between 23rd and 30th showing higher chance of normal temperature across most of the Nation which has occurred and will for few more days. Second image: Showing all that red shading all but gone meaning temperatures will be close to normal as we move into December some blue patches through north west Australia may indicate parts of tropical WA getting ready for the first monsoon of the season. - John
