25.01.2022 Catholic Mission is the international mission agency of the Catholic Church in Australia. Each year, they focus on one area around the world to raise money for, and awareness of, that country.. The 2020 school's appeal has the theme "For the Joy of the Lord is your strength" and is focusing on Cambodia and the challenges the people of this country face. To support this cause, Star of the Sea will be holding their annual "Mission stall day" on Friday, 23rd October. Students are asked to bring in their 'coinage' on the day to spend at the stalls and raise money for this worthy cause. Most items or games/activities will cost a silver coin. The day will bring a lot of fun and smiles to everyone's face while at the same time supporting a worthy cause!

21.01.2022 The P&F will be running the annual Father's Day stall on Thursday, 3rd September. This will give our students a chance to say Thank you to the special men in their life. All students will have an opportunity to visit the gift stall. The prices of all gifts will range from $2.00 - $12.00. Children may bring whatever amount of money they choose to spend. There are some Grandparent gifts. We suggest your child's money be placed in an envelope, wallet or snap lock bag with ...their name and class name on it. This will make it easier for them to find and keep safe. We ask that students bring along their own carry bag to take their gift stall purchase home - a reusable plastic or cloth shopping bag will work perfectly.

04.01.2022 It is a long held tradition that Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School supports the annual Saint Vincent De Paul (SVDP) Christmas Appeal. This year, more than ever, there are many local families struggling financially. Therefore, once again we are seeking donations of non-perishable items so that St Vinnies are able to put together food hampers for families. Christmas should be an enjoyable time of year for all families and through your generous support we are able to assi...st people who otherwise may not be able to afford food at Christmas. Below is a list of items that each year level is collecting. They are suggested items as it is these that St Vinnies use for these special hampers. If you choose to send in gifts, please label if it is for a boy or a girl and the age it is for. We ask that you bring in your donations to your child’s classroom. Please make sure that all donations have not passed their use by date and that the packaging has not been broken. We would like to thank you in advance for your generous support of this appeal and we look forward to donating our items to SVDP towards the end of the year.
