25.01.2022 Turning 21 has never looked so pretty! ~~ This chickadee had a sweet celebration last night at @thejarmerroom with this tall 8" and some cute little matching mini cupcakes. . Drips, piping, meringues, rose gold macarons, gold leaf, sprinkles and the prettiest blooms from @bayjunctionflorist.... Flavour: Mars Bar - Layers of chocolate fudge cake filled with milk chocolate nougat french buttercream and lashings of salted caramel.

23.01.2022 Its been a little quiet around here for a while - Buying a house suddenly makes arranging crockery and choosing paint colours so much more exciting than anything else, including posting cakes to facebook, so apologies for the radio silence... Heres a look at a beautiful cake I got to create for a special ladys 95th birthday party! What a gal! Love the colours on this one ... This slab cake served over 100 guests, and was a welcome change to the usual round cakes I do. Playing with width over height forced me to get creative and I love the results! 21.01.2022 About a month ago, Star + Sweet exhibited at the Love Cherish Adore wedding fair and it was so much fun getting to meet so many lovely couples and also getting to hang out with some of the best vendors in Adelaide. I never got a chance to post anything from the fair on our Facebook page, so heres a bit of a snapshot of the day. Im in love with all our cakes! I wanted to show how we can push the boundaries with wedding cakes (black wedding cake anyone?!), but Ive also got ...some gorgeous, classic white on white ones in there too. Thanks to all the brides who booked in their wedding cakes with us after the fair! I cant wait to chat to you all at the tasting and consultation day later this month! 20.01.2022 Spring vibes today with this pretty Cakescape for a birthday celebration. This cakescape will serve up to 50 guests and is a lot easier to slice and serve than a regular tiered cake. I love how the cakes are slightly different but use the colour scheme to tie them together. All my favourite colours on this one

This lovely tall cake matched the mini cupcakes. This cake celebrated a beautiful client who has had us make her wedding cake, her husbands birthday cake, and now her own. Happiest of birthdays Kat! 15.01.2022 I was given no brief for this cake other than to incorporate the birthday boys favourite lime green holden ute. Painted and splattered buttercream, sharp edges and black chocolate burnouts behind the car - I think this masculine cake came together well! Flavour as requested was a moist banana cake layered with fluffy vanilla cream cheese frosting.... Custom topper by Communicake it.

10.01.2022 Hello to these beauties! We were asked to donate some mini desserts for a school fundraiser and loved putting these gorgeous colours together for a fun, vibrant cupcake display. Each cupcake was filled with a gooey salted caramel centre and finished with vanilla bean Italian meringue buttercream.

06.01.2022 It has been a CRAZY week! My husband and I moved house on wednesday (yay!) But there was still 7 cheesecakes and a HUGE cake to make this weekend so I am so sorry for not being able to reply to emails this week.
