24.01.2022 Star Central Dance understands protecting our immediate studio members and outer community members especially during this unprecedented time of the corona virus outbreak (COVID-19). At this stage classes are still going ahead and the studio will not close until schools do or until advised otherwise by government officials! We will be conducting the following procedures to help minimise risk factors: Wiping down and disinfecting barres, equipment and props between every cl...ass Wiping down and disinfecting door handles, handrails and other high tough surfaces Ensuring the availability and encouraging use of hand soap in bathrooms and hand sanitiser in waiting room and studios. Minimising student-student and teacher-student contact such as hand holding and hugging Encouraging coughing or sneezing to be done into a tissue or elbow Disposing all rubbish appropriately No sharing of drink bottles or other personal items. Students that are unwell are encouraged to tell their teacher so arrangements can be made for the student to picked up If unwell prior to class parents are asked to please keep their child at home! Please help us to keep this virus from spreading by following these precautions we have set in place!

23.01.2022 PLEASE READ!! IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING CLASS FEES Due to term one ending short there is a slight change to fees...... If term fees were paid in full during term one there are no fees owing until the beginning of term 3!! Please note if you haven’t paid your term 1 fees, now is the time to do so!! If you have used active or creative kids vouchers please check with Miss Sherrianne on where you are up to with fees! IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS As we have missed out on a lot of classes during COVID, we have decided to continue all classes throughout the coming school holidays, class schedules are the same as they would normally be during the school term! *If you have any questions regarding the information above please don’t hesitate to send us a message and we will respond as soon as possible!

23.01.2022 Due to popular demand and lots of interest we have decided to open up a Junior Hip Hop class!! Feel free to message us if your child would like to be apart of this class!

20.01.2022 Under advice from the NSW government regarding Covid-19 and following their advice regarding social distancing and non-essential activities to close, we have sadly decided to cancel all classes and private lessons until further notice! We will do our best to credit and offer extra classes when the time becomes available again! Please stay safe and we can’t wait to be back dancing again once this all passes!

18.01.2022 Back to Dance!! As you may have all seen in the news that dance studios can return for classes as of Saturday 13th June! Star Central Dance Academy’s classes will be returning from this date. Our classes are limited to 10 students and students must follow the social distancing of 1.5msq... Students in classes that usually have more that 10 will be contacted with alternate information There is lots of precautions that will be put in place for this to run safely and smoothly and we politely ask that all students and families work will us and follow all the rules whilst attending the studio Please follow the precautions below; * Temperature checks and hand sanitising on arrival * Teachers will sign children in/out * Students are to Get in...dance...get out, please no loitering! * Students and teachers only in the studios * Parents can wait in waiting room or verandah areas and making sure to abide by social distancing, if parents choose to wait on premises they will have to provide name, phone number and email address for contact tracing purposes * No food in the studios, this includes birthday cakes * No sharing of drink bottles * No use of ceramic cups at tea/coffee station * Please use hand washing facilities provided when necessary * Limit contact with everyone, no hand holding or hugging * KISS AND DROP....for school aged children * No congregating * If your child is sick please do not send them to classes * Please inform teachers if your children is not attending class * Please explain rules and precaution to your children prior to classes, there will be stars placed on the floor marking where students need to stand to be 1.5msq apart. There will be NO weekday private lessons until further notice!
