25.01.2022 White rustic wedding of Dahlias, Gypsophila and a variety of Eucalyptus.
25.01.2022 It began as an arrangement and ended as a shadow puppet. These beauties are growing everywhere at the moment and feel like the perfect thing for Christmas.
24.01.2022 Sometimes its refreshing just to go back to the basics.
24.01.2022 "pick your flowers in the morning or evening otherwise they will not survive for very long afterwards" -from the very useful handbook.
22.01.2022 Having a toddler has taught me to take time out. Even if theres a huge list of things to do. Whats the point to any of it if we can enjoy the sunshine and the beauty of nature!
22.01.2022 A flower cannot blossom without sunshine.
21.01.2022 "The more you pick the more will grow" Is the advice I am taking on board, looking at other areas of my life I can apply this too.
21.01.2022 Incorporating starfish and the a few of the brides own seashells that held special meaning for her.
21.01.2022 "There are only patterns, patterns on top of patterns, patterns that affect other patterns. Patterns hidden by patterns. Patterns within patterns." -Chuck Palahnick

17.01.2022 The afternoon sun makes this pretty corner of my workspace even more pretty.
16.01.2022 All ready to go out for a wedding on the west coast. A long journey ahead. One reason I love natives so much is how well they last.
16.01.2022 Some of the wattle trees have turned this beautiful shade of purple. My hope is that I can dry them out without losing the colour.
16.01.2022 So much enjoying these golden tones. Everything made from my extensive roadside foraging. Amazing right. Tasmania is just so beautiful for this.

14.01.2022 We dont have flower markets in Tasmania but we have this growing wild. #wildsweetpea
13.01.2022 Such a joy to get photos back from brides after the big day.
12.01.2022 It may not be officially winter but down South the mornings sure do feel like it. So here is my winter collection anyway. Embracing neutral tones and foraged grasses.
12.01.2022 I am forever amazed by the support I have received from local communities such as this one. CENTs Tasmania is not just about moving towards a cashless economy, its all about sustainability and supporting local businesses as well.
12.01.2022 Its been eight years since I started on my journey to becoming florist. Since then I have made hundreds of arrangements. Working in an online florist with then minutes max to make something I learnt to be quick. So hundreds is not an exaggeration. Wreaths is one however, that I always slow down for. Theres something spiritual about the whole process.
11.01.2022 It all looks a bit under the sea.
10.01.2022 It has been a dream of mine to work with flowers I have grown myself. That dream is very slowly starting to happen.
09.01.2022 Thinking of cool southerly breezes and lots of ran for areas close to me that are under threat of bushfires.
09.01.2022 Willow. Teasles. Fennel. Bracken fern. And some kind of fluffy grass that grows in swampy areas. Was an adventure to get it. It turned out to be the home of some large animal who may have received as much as a fright as I did.
08.01.2022 Wedding things.
07.01.2022 This wedding was a planned/unplanned success. We visited the flower markets on the hunt for whatever was beautiful. By not setting too many limits we were able to come up with quality arrangements.
06.01.2022 If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly our whole life would change. Buddha
05.01.2022 Rainy days arent so bad when you have so many collected materials to play with. All of that gathering was meant for days like this.
04.01.2022 A wonderful mess. My living spaces often become a living jungle.
03.01.2022 New wreaths. Wattle was picked last year when the leaves turned slightly purple. They havent quiet begun to just yet. My mission for today is to try and find some. A reconnaissance mission of sorts.
03.01.2022 I added lights. Magical.
01.01.2022 Same but different.
