25.01.2022 RACE NIGHT Fantastic fun at Friday night swimming races. Great turn out, massive PBs all round and a lot of district qualifying times!!!... We are so proud of all of our little champions. If you would like to attend swimming club with your team have a chat to one of our friendly coaches or reception staff. Lots of fun and excellent race practice.
25.01.2022 CLASSES CANCELLED THIS AFTERNOON Monday Afternoon classes are cancelled..!!!!!!!! Whilst our water quality is back to acceptable levels our water remains cloudy. ... 22.01.2022 WE ARE CLOSED THIS MORNING To all members, This morning on checking water quality we have decided to cancel morning classes as we are not 100% happy with the water results. For the safety of members and staff we feel this is the right option for all. This includes aqua aerobics, walking and swimming... at this stage afternoon classes will be on as per normal but please watch for further notices!!... 22.01.2022 LOCAL BUSINESS AWARDS Last night Michelle and Miss Bianca attended the Local Business Awards, unfortunately we did not get the result we wanted but will try again next year! Thank you to everyone who voted for us and made us a finalist we are super thankful!... Thank you to our amazing staff for all you do, keep it up!!! We have a beautiful centre and a great team which we are so grateful to have! Thank you all
21.01.2022 DISTRICT SQUAD CHAMPIONSHIP Over the weekend we had Starfish members who are part of the sharks Starfish squad program compete at the SMNW Summer district Championships held at Sydney Olympic Park aquatic centre, Homebush. For some of them it was their first time in a competitive swim meet.... Overall results are as follows: We had 10 sharks swimmers compete Between all swimmers, they competed in 39 events All swimmers in 39 events achieved PBs (100%) amazing 10 medals (8 silver, 2 bronze) A big thank you to all the parents and a special thank you to the Coaches Jacquie, Brooke, Tarni and Louise who prepared our Starfish to amazing results. We are very proud of them. We look forward to seeing all these squad members including members who couldn’t compete this weekend grow and develop in the future!!!!!!

15.01.2022 SQUAD COACH Starfish Aquatics at North Richmond are looking for a suitably qualified development Squad Coach to join our fun, supportive team of coaches. Starfish Aquatics operate a successful, newly established Sharks swimming squad program. We offer squad programs from Junior Squads through to Senior representative squads, including Adult squads and more. We have a beautifully appointed 25m, 3 lane state of the art indoor heated pool and proudly boast a fantastic, s...upportive, and friendly working environment. Duties and responsibilities: Delivery of squad sessions in line with Starfish Aquatics -Sharks junior development program. Actively work under the guidance of Sharks head coach and management. Promote and develop the profile of our squad within the swimming and wider community. Deliver quality stroke correction and competition knowledge/guidance to athletes. Split shifts will be required, including early mornings and afternoon/evenings. Squad sessions currently run 4 mornings and 4 evenings on a weekday. Be a pleasant, friendly, and valuable team member demonstrating a willingness to learn. Qualifications Previous experience coaching/swimming within the squad swimming/training aquatics environment (Ex-competitive / competitive swimmers desirable) Must have current CPR First aid certificate is (desirable) Current bronze medallion (desirable) Must have a Working with Children’s Check number. 10.01.2022 HOLIDAY INTENSIVE PROGRAM We still have spots available for our holiday intensive program. Monday 28th September- Friday 2nd October Lessons will run in the mornings.... Revised cost is : $59.00 for the 5 lessons. We will also be running a holiday intensive program for our squad swimmers. Monday 28th September - Friday 2nd October Sessions times will be 6am-7.30am Cost will be: $56.50 per child Friday 2nd October we will also be having a team building session : 3pm-6pm Cost: $30 per child with lots of fun things happening and pizza at the end, this will be a great way for everyone to meet each other. Kindly contact us if you would like to enrol in either of these intensive programs.

02.01.2022 Farewell Miss Kelsey Miss Kelsey was our very first instructor 2 years ago when we opened our doors. She has been a valuable staff member in the pool, on our reception desk and played an important role in setting up the centre. ... Miss Kelsey has completed a university degree in Primary school teaching and will be leaving us to pursue a career in school teaching.
