20.01.2022 Jordyn Richards - Welcome to the Team. We are proud to announce that we have hired a new teacher at Gladesville. She took on her first few students part way into Term 1. We have been mentouring Jordyn as she transitions from student to teacher and she has handled the transition beautifully and has already attracted new clients requesting to see her at Gladesville. Jordyn Richards is already a seasoned performer at an elite level and has even been awarded the Hunters Hill Youn...g Citizen of the Year 2020. Some of her outstanding performances include a solo performance to over 50,000 people at the Circular Quay Australia Day Entertainment. Other notable performances include solo performances at the Sydney Opera House at 11 years old for the 2013 Ryde School Spectacular, and the 2019 Australian of the Year Awards entertainment, and Carols in the common 2017-19. She has won many singing and songwriting titles including Crestwood Idol, The Granny Smith Festival twice, Parravision, West Ryde Singing Star to name only a few, and many Eisteddfod category and championship wins. Throughout her life shes always had a passion for music. She began her singing journey at age 5 with Alison Murphy the principal vocal coach of Starfish Vocal Studio. She continues her musical journey by doing what she loves most; performing and creating her own original music and now joining the teaching team at Starfish Vocal Studio. We have loved watching Jordyn grow up and become a skilled singer and accomplished young artist.

In the last few weeks Alison broke her foot, Emma's husband broke his ankle, choirs were banned, then reopened etc, etc. What an eventful year. 06.01.2022 A big congratulations to Jordyn Richards who was nominated for ENCORE 2020 and OnStage2020. Encore is a special performance of the best music performances and compositions from the state wide HSC practical exams. OnStage is a performance of the best Drama performances from the statewide HSC. This is a massive achievment. We had several exceptional HSC students this year and are keen to hear their results in a few months.
