19.01.2022 VOTE 1 PAUL JARMAN ROCHESTER WARD CANDIDATE For those yet to vote, please do so (closing 22nd October) and for those who have voted for me, I Thank You. I am ...an independent candidate that has grown up in this community, having gone to school at St Josephs’ College and playing football for the Rochester Football Club. I have many friends, old and new, in this community. My family have lived in Rochester and surrounds for many generations. I have continued maintained connection with Rochester my entire life, not just for a council campaign. For the platforms I care about please go to Paul Jarman Rochester on Facebook. Whilst campaigning the opportunity to meet new people, friends, and those I have known in my past has been a fantastic opportunity to listen to what they have been up to and what is important to them or the organisations they represent. From Toolleen to Rochester, Young and Old, I have been amazed with the Honesty, Pride, and in many cases the Strength and Intelligence those people have spoken with. The Rochester ward and surrounding communities have faced many testing times over the past decade. Floods, Murray Goulburn closure, and the Murray Darling basin plan are to name only a few. Now we are being asked to face yet another test, COVID-19. The isolation, loneliness and economic devastation this has caused many in our community will take for everyone to work together. Re-engaging with clubs, support groups or even just your neighbour will be very important for everyone’s health and wellbeing. If I am fortunate enough to be elected as the Rochester Ward Representative, I believe looking for opportunities to help the community will be a major consideration the Campaspe Shire will have to understand to make a real difference in our communities. Whilst many promises and commitments are made, my commitment to you is, I will give you the best I possibly can. I have proven in the past that hard work, determination, communication and drive can achieve many positive things in life. Thank You.
