22.01.2022 Food for thought...... We will all come into close contact with disability in our lives. 80 per cent of disabilities are acquired later in life, and our ageing population means the prevalence of disability is on the rise. With family combined, disability affects 53 per cent of our global population. (Source: TIME). Within Australia, more than one-third of households include a person with disability. (Source: Australian Bureau of Statistics). This article from the Australian Network on Disability discussed the ' Disability Inclusion Revolution and puts out a worldwide call to action for Business to recognise the one billion people living with disability.
