25.01.2022 These two wonderful people got married in Germany a few months back, but we were pretty stoked they flew all the way to Aus to share a second wedding with us down under Raw, full of emotion, and surrounded by Aussie friends and family, it was so much fun to be with these guys for the day

25.01.2022 Aussie summers bring the goods with a 35 morning, we were all thankful for this shade huge thanks to these legends for smiling on cue, so I didnt have to break a sweat We live in a beautiful state, in a beautiful country! My favourite part of using botanic gardens is that they change each season! While Adelaide Botanic Gardens does its best work in Spring and Summer, Mount Lofty Botanic Gardens lights up in Autumn and Winter. 23.01.2022 Time is so precious! As photographers, we understand that organising a photo shoot with young kids is HARD. Did they nap, have they eaten, do they have a clean face and a clean bum? Yes, they just did get tomato sauce on that brand new shirt. Theyve just had a tantrum and all youre thinking is, "Gosh! How are they going to smile, or not cry, for an hour?!" Now imagine thinking all about that, then trying to get them all in a car and take them to a place theyre unfamiliar w...ith. At Stark and Mills, we dont have a studio. We can come to you! To not only your choice of outdoor location, but we also come to your own home. The kids can nap right before we arrive. If they need a break from us, they can go play in their own, familiar space. If they spill food on their clothes or yesterdays meal has made a grand exit down south, take a moment and go change them. Update your photos with ease. Parents, you can breathe now.

23.01.2022 Ok, hands up if this kid is making your ovaries hurt On a lovely Sunday afternoon, with a wonderful warm rain shower, I had the honour of taking some casual photos of Williams first birthday! We are particularly grateful, as Emma and Marcus had Dan take their engagement party photos a few years back, then asked us back for more. We love seeing families grow!

22.01.2022 A huge thank you to this flexible and beautiful family, who not only braved the heat, but also took it in their stride when we rocked up unknowingly at the closed botanic gardens (due to heat) and followed me to different location last minute! Also a big thanks to Mount Lofty House, for their kindness in letting us use their stunning grounds at such short notice. This busy boy just loved exploring every inch!

21.01.2022 Baaaaby Stark, due due due due due June! So, there a just a few big changes happening this year... Dan and I are delighted to share with you our very happy news! Our little one arrives early June, so we wanted to update you on our availability for 2020. I (Helen) will be taking bookings for families and newborn photography sessions until late April, which is perfect timing to utilise our beautiful Autumn season before it gets too cold! Please send us a message if you have ...been meaning to get your photos done, as bookings will fill up fast. We will update you when we are taking bookings again for families and newborns, after a few months of getting to know our gorgeous baby Dan is still available for weddings, but he will be taking a break between April and beginning of November. He will fulfill all weddings that have already been contracted this year. 05.01.2022 Three years, two extra kids and one very gorgeous family! We always love when families ask us back for more :) These guys took us up on our Winter special offer and got a 20% discount! 05.01.2022 We wanted to start off this year by introducing you to Shayne, a local from Lenswood who was severely burned while fighting the recent fires in the Adelaide Hills. I met Shayne and his beautiful family at a wedding I photographed in November, and was devastated to hear the news of his injuries. As photographers and storytellers, were often celebrating the joy of life newborns taking their first breath, the marriage of couples, the vibrancy of growing families but ultima...tely were here to share stories of authenticity. Sometimes those stories are of deep heartache and pain. Weve ached along with the Adelaide Hills community, and our nation as weve seen the devastation of these fires, but weve also been encouraged by the many stories of community, generosity, love and hope.
