20.01.2022 Everyone should find a way to express themselves!

18.01.2022 Hi Everyone. The North Mandurah JFC Executive are working through the COVID-19 return to Play/Training guidelines at present to try and get all club members and Auskick and Starkick kids back to footy and back to normal (whatever that may be!) Given the restrictions in Stage 2 of the WAFC Return to Play Roadmap (http://www.wafootball.com.au/covid19) it will not be possible for Auskick or Starkick to return until Stage 3 (estimated to be 4 weeks from the start of Stage 2 on ...18 May) The reasoning behind this is as follows The large amount of parent involvement required during an Auskick or Starkick session is not feasible under the current Return to Training protocol. The amount of shared equipment involved in the Auskick and Starkick format is not permitted under the Return to Training protocol. The ability to provide adequate child safety measures will prove incredibly difficult, as social gathering restrictions do not permit the large crowds that parent spectatorship/supervision would incur. Spatial distancing and the avoidance of incidental contact may be difficult to guarantee with the game-like philosophy and move away of line-type drills I will continue to work through all of the options to get all of the kids back into Starkick, including looking at options like multiple sessions each week or alternative session structures to get all kids as much footy skills and fun as possible before the planned end of the season. If you have any questions or queries about the current situation or potential future arrangements, please comment and I will do my best to answer all queries. Please continue to stay safe and follow all requirements under the current COVID-19 restrictions and we will hope to be back at Starkick in Lakelands as soon as possible Thanks - Pauric (Auskick and Starkick Coordinator)
