12.01.2022 Most people can’t visualise how a raw, brassy blonde can be transformed into a stunning peal ash blonde, so we thought we’d show you. 03.01.2022 Last year on World Cancer Day, Look Good Feel Better celebrated the global reach and positive impact of our program by sharing two extraordinary numbers from ou...r 2019 Global Participant Survey - 97% of Look Good Feel Better participants around the world find much-needed support from the experience and 98% would recommend the program to other women with cancer. This year, we have one more extraordinary number to share - 90%. In the midst of the pandemic that forced us to rapidly change the way we deliver the Look Good Feel Better program, 90% of Look Good Feel Better global affiliates launched or enhanced virtual programming or online resources. This swift and decisive action ensured that cancer patients in 24 countries around the world could still find comfort, support and community through Look Good Feel Better at a time when they felt more isolated, and more vulnerable than ever. Our new virtual delivery model and online resources have enabled those undergoing cancer treatment around the world to learn how to address the appearance-related side effects of their cancer treatment from the comfort and safety of their homes. We’ve overcome the limits of time, space, and social distancing to provide a unique, interactive, and enjoyable experience. The focus for this year’s World Cancer Day is Together all our actions matter and we’re proud to have embodied this theme through our global Look Good Feel Better team and our work over this past year. Regardless of circumstance, Look Good Feel Better will be there to help people at an emotional, turbulent, and difficult time in their lives to rediscover confidence and enjoy a welcoming, like-minded community of fellow patients and compassionate volunteers. To help, visit our website to donate, or register for one of our 54 workshops across the country this month. lgfb.org.au @scotty_t_gibson
