23.01.2022 Sarah How gorgeous is Sarah and her tribe from her wedding this Saturday! Gorgeous woman, gorgeous dresses, gorgeous location.. (featuring a delightful 5 week old baby - still my beating heart) I did super natural makeup on all the girls (had to restrain myself ) but as you can see it didn’t affect the photos - side note - if you want natural makeup, make sure you at least have lots of lashes and a good base!... 19.01.2022 Pinks & Purples When I suggest cool toned pink/purple for your eyeshadow, Im not thinking 80s glam Ill be honest, Im a neutral kinda girl, HOWEVER, if the BMs are wearing grey, OR, if the bride looooooves purple or pink, Ill make an exception and Ill add just the right flavour of pink/purple/grey combined.. If your BMs dresses are pink/purple, I personally dont like to be matchy matchy with the eyeshadow.. As always, I like soft glam approach, with a balance of... pink/purple that gently highlights the clients features, rather than overpowering them, hitting the brides brief, but also catering to their bridal parties aesthetic too You can always make a statement with a lip that will compliment flowers, dresses, theme etc Let me know your thoughts! 13.01.2022 Lash lifts So you probably can’t tell from this video, but this absolute 10/10 had a lash lift a few months before @kellymossop_photography wedding... No word of a lie, I spent 30 minutes wrangling my way around her super curly lashes! Thank god I had @envi_cosmetics amazing individuals to save the day!... Putting a strip lash on curly lashes is a bit of a nightmare (MUAS you know what I’m talking about)... but with individuals it can be done with some persistence! Also, I attempted to do a reel last weekend (this isn’t it) and it was all going so well.. until I was cut off at 30 seconds and you couldn’t see the finished product!! (This is the finished product ) I’ll post my first attempt at a reel later I used some cooler tones on the eyes for these BMs as their dresses were a blush pink

11.01.2022 Closed Its taken me a little while to write this, as Ive been dealing with clients, my amazing brides, my incredible sub-contractors, my kids, family, the idea of being isolated from friends and family for months and months.. the list could go on... Yes, we are closed. Frankly, this needs to happen for the welfare of all the loved ones we hold near and dear. To my beautiful brides, your strength, attitude and courage, astounds me. I admire you so much. When they ask abou...t my welfare, Im gobsmacked. There you are postponing your own beloved weddings, dealing with multiple vendors, yet you ask how I am. I salute you. You are incredible. Whilst Im going to value this time with my family, make memories, teach, bake, reflect, (possibly go insane), I will be still be providing quotes wherever possible. I think every vendor can say that next season is going to be wild... If you are planning your wedding for 2021, I implore you to book sooner rather later. That doesnt have to be makeup, or hair.. just be mindful that there is going to be a huge backlog and influx on bookings with your preferred vendors. Stay safe, wash your hands, and please please self isolate if you can! Love you all! Hopefully this means posting more and getting through a huge backlog of amazing brides and weddings! Plus updating my website, hell, I might even do my first blog! . .

11.01.2022 Beauty room So, it only took me 6 weeks to get out of my #iso bubble.. and out of that bubble I have apparently BURST! Updating my beauty room! Ive always wanted to do it, however with constant trials, working all weekend every weekend, and the lack of motivation it was always next year, next year... 08.01.2022 Nori aka Veronica Jeepers, where do I even start with this amazing bride @nori_ninetyone ?!! I should probably start with her trial, where in walked two amazing, vivacious, chatty, delightful besties! Ready to set the world on fire at her hens! (acne, dark circles, redness, purple & brown discolouration, etc) The beauty of makeup is that you can correct by simply using the opposite colour of your problem area before you conceal! If you have redness, you can colour correct using green. ... For dark circles under your eyes you can use peach or orange Purple or brown discolouration you can use peach, orange or red depending on skin tone I hope this is helpful! Im currently filling up my diary with trials across July/August/Sept... if you havent booked in your trial yet, then Ill be doing trials on the following days.. This girl, man.. she went through the wringer... and Im so thankful she was able to have her day. The strength this woman showed, was amazing... I salute you my love * I just want to say, and Ive said it on my stories, to my amazing brides, you are so incredible. The way that you have all handled everything astounds me... every day. 03.01.2022 Light (at the end of a somewhat dark tunnel)... To say that the last 6 weeks have been some of the most mentally draining, would be an understatement! The first x2 weeks for me consisted of me obsessively reading every news article, scouring over all the statistics, homeschooling, and also exercising x2 (amazing) kids, rescheduling copious amounts of weddings from myself and then also my team.. lending support to brides who have obviously been through so much turmoil the...mselves, the list could go on.. Fast forward x2 weeks and its school holidays, scary shop visits (afraid to sneeze) and the realisation that I had lost a few very essential parts of myself. A) my creativity, and B) connecting with people... Fast forward to this last week... I see light! I got to visit my best friends , I went to the mall and saw that some of my favourite stores had miraculously opened up again! My children went to school and came home excited and reenergised! And more importantly there was news that beauty services can reopen (hopefully) mid June!!!! I think the not knowing has been heavy in my heart, and knowing the end is near, you can literally feel it, it is so amazing to see, hear, feel. I think this photo is apt for the way Im feeling now. 03.01.2022 Pinks & Purples When I suggest cool toned pink/purple for your eyeshadow, I’m not thinking 80’s glam I’ll be honest, I’m a neutral kinda girl, HOWEVER, if the BMs are wearing grey, OR, if the bride looooooves purple or pink, I’ll make an exception and I’ll add just the right flavour of pink/purple/grey combined.. If your BMs dresses are pink/purple, I personally don’t like to be matchy matchy with the eyeshadow.. As always, I like soft glam approach, with a balance of... pink/purple that gently highlights the clients features, rather than overpowering them, hitting the brides brief, but also catering to their bridal parties aesthetic too You can always make a statement with a lip that will compliment flowers, dresses, theme etc Let me know your thoughts! If planning a wedding isnt stressful enough, I can only imagine how this news must be affecting your day to day life.... I wanted to let you all know that for us it is business as usual until otherwise advised by the federal government. However, we are UNABLE to provide any services based on the following: - If you or your bridal party have travelled internationally in the last 14 days - If you or your bridal party have a fever or are unwell - If you or your bridal party have been in contact with anyone who has Coronavirus. Likewise, we will be implementing thorough hygiene throughout by: - Sanitising hands before, during and in between application - Sanitising brushes, palettes and any other ad hoc equipment with alcohol during and in between application. If you need to reschedule your wedding due to the corona virus, I would be happy to do so, with no penalty, provided the date is free for myself and my team. Some options regarding this: - Consider a weekday wedding (mon - thurs) - Consider an off season wedding - Provide 5 potential dates to all vendors to weigh up your options - Breathe!
