14.01.2022 A huge thank you to Dee Amos for sharing with me her little tip on how to make Jam in your bread maker. So check your bread maker - they often have a ‘jam’ setting . Ours is a sunbeam bake house . It’s so easy- the recipe was in my user manual but pretty much : 500g of fruit ... 1-1&1/2 cups sugar Little squeeze of lime or lemon juice . 2 tablespoons of jam setter. Put it on the jam setting and away you go. On mine it takes an hour and 25 minutes. Come back and pour it into the jars. I whiz it up a little as Jon doesn’t like chunks in his jam. It only makes a small batch but saves stirring and I made several batches in one afternoon.
