07.01.2022 The word ‘No’ || So superstars, I think it’s safe to say I get a kick out of being told no, it’s almost like it lights my soul on fire and challenges me to be better. Determination is key Today I approached a handmade market stall to have our earrings featured in their stall. The owner explained that she was inundated with jewellery and not taking anymore on, and she would have to decline at this time. I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve had my hard shares of ‘no’ t...hese past few years, but there would have been a time in my life where I would have taken it so personally, where I thought okay my products aren’t good enough, but today, I took it like a grain of salt and walked on outta there planning my next move. Just because there is one person out there that may not have the ability to believe in you or your potential, should not limit you to what you are capable of. Business, and life, is about the lessons, both good and bad, and it’s okay to keep rising to the occasion and wanting to be better.
