23.01.2022 Election year 2020-I will making a series of posts on the Election this year and today we are going to look at the Election Day itself on November 3 2020 .With ...Moon in Gemini , Mercury in Libra and Mars in Aries Retrograde, and Mars in Libra square Saturn ,Jupiter and Pluto in Capricorn, one has to feel that this will be an historic day when there will be a focus on delayed results or results that need to be checked which may result in a degree of frustration and this must be allowed for .The astro aspects for the day will likely to result in communication problems and hold ups in voting assessments and results due to the effect of Mercury retrograde.The highlight of squares between Libra and Capricorn will also result in an election where justice in a broad sense or universal sense will be a powerful karmic signature over this election and will be a symbol for whichever government is elected.It is natural for politicians or political astrologers to focus on the policies of each particular party or the personal positives or negatives of the individual candidates in this case , Donald Trump or Joseph Biden but in a universal sense, whichever one is to be elected to this office or re- elected as the case maybe , he will find himself with a strong focus on justice being seen to be done in relation to the people who have elected him and an urgent need to justify political actions to secure their futures .The dramatic star patterns in October this year especially around the 13th onwards , will underline a need for balance and more fairness in how the government of 2021 onwards deals with the society.I have especially been drawn to looking at the powerful patterns around the end of December in Aquarius , which to me signifies that this year, we need to look beyond personality politics in this election to the urgent need to deal with matters in hand in 2021 including possible joining and linking of countries of the free world against oppressive and utilitarian regimes just as there will be a focus on ongoing methods to manage or suppress the pandemic and financial and economic remodeling to cope with the effects of the pandemics' restrictions .More on election day and other aspects of the Election soon .I am of the view that Aquarian Astrologers ,by which I mean astrologers who are primarily focused on free thinking and democracy do not focus on the personality of the leader as much as the universal results and insights we must navigate for those who read our work , as a we do not all vote the same or think the same politically and if we wish to keep a free world or a world where we allow for differences of view , we must upgrade and dignify how we work .This by no means means we all have to think alike as all astrologers use different views in their work to arrive at their results but rather that we focus more on the whole than the part.We all have the right to our views but in the end , the welfare of our allies, and in this cases those of the free world should be the focus as their welfare affects ours whoever is elected .Moreover , it will be particularly important for the two candidates to have ramped up personal security during this period as the stars indicate possible dangerous periods in October which must be navigated. 18.01.2022 It is coming up to a very important and historic election day for the US and here in Australia , we are reading media reports that are emphasizing how importantly the Australian media and people here are viewing the coming election.With Mars retrograde in Aries security needs to be the first priority for the leaders and all concerned whatever party or leader you follow or back.Back in January , just after the Saturn Pluto conjunction in Capricorn on January 12 , I was with a ...group of astrologers at a national conference here in Melbourne sharing thoughts on the restrictive energies that this rare conjunction would have on our world.Saturn and Pluto is a very serious conjunction and even more so when it occurs in Capricorn.With the planet of Saturn in its own sign conjunct Pluto , we can expect that there will be much dissent amongst authority and that for reasons beyond our control we will be restricted in manners similar to war or in the current case due to a pandemic.Importantly as well,Jupiter conjunct Pluto aspects which have occurred 3 time this year have been seen in history to coincide with pandemics eg during the time of the Spanish Flu period.There are some dramatic and unusual star patterns over this election which I will look at which could mean that it could be one of the most important and historic ones in recent history.Firstly however I want to look at the Mars Retrograde in Aries which is current during this election and up to November 13th.This aspect in conjunction with Uranus in Taurus square the Sun in Scorpio could lead to disturbed or extreme protests or unrest no matter who is elected and one of the leaders has to be.It is therefore of the primary importance that security is as good as it can possibly be for the day and for at least some weeks after it to mid December.Whoever leads the next government will need to be a decisive and strong leader as Mars retrograde in Aries signifies a challenging next 4 years.
