25.01.2022 There is a new project on the way ! Its going to be revolutionary to use some chrome film to add an amazing shine :) The best Chrome film on the market in my opinion is Hexis, it has the best gloss finish with no orange peel after installation, and the gloss laminate resists scratching and abrasion. I cant wait for Monday, I am so excited !!

25.01.2022 Going back to March there was a sulphuric acid chemical spill on the Kwinana freeway in Perth and not long after that I had a customer complain about their black gloss black roof going white and peeling !! The film was 3M 1080 and had only been on there 8 months, at first I could not work out why the film was in such a bad condition and then I realised the vehicle must have gone through the acid spill. Its amazing the effect it had on the film(it was very hard to remove) a...nd the white paint on the car was discoloured with yellow patches everywhere, but only under the vinyl and not on the parts that are not wrapped If you drive through anything suspicious on the road that is a liquid its possible to do damage to your car, so if this happens go home and rinse your car off immediately !!!

25.01.2022 More Frosting installed in a boardroom to promote privacy and still not blocking out the outside world entirely which is a good balance, I love this frosting because it works in the same way as car wrapping, it has air channels and goes on dry, much quicker to install complicated patterns and gone are the days in the past where you have to wait for the frosting to dry after a wet install before you can remove the application tape, technology advances are so helpful !!

24.01.2022 Have you ever sat on a plane and noticed bird poo on one of the engines ? Neither have I, which makes me think about car wrapping and bird poo. If bird poo is strong enough to stay on the outside of an aircraft engine after many flights at altitude then just imagine what it will be doing to your beautiful car wrap ? In summary : if you see bird poo on your car then clean it off ASAP, who knows what the birds have been eating and how much damage this may do to your wrap

23.01.2022 Many times people ask me to install vinyl film purchased from websites overseas at a cheap price and every time my answer is no !! Why ? If you look at the photo I have a piece of cheap car wrapping film that has shrunk back on the backing sheet by at least 3mm, that may not sound like much but if I wrapped this on your car and it did that ? Especially if it was a white car with black film ! You would ring me and complain !! This is why I only ever use good quality film that will minimally shrink or not shrink at all

21.01.2022 A new year means new jobs ! Plenty of stuff happening in 2017, I love wrapping different items, this scooter happened to get in the way of some vinyl and my heat gun :) The film is Hexis HX 30S004B - orange and Hexis HX 30S012B - Aqua, plus 3M gloss black accents. Considering this scooter was badly damaged when I went to wrap it then the end result came out very nicely, thanks Karen for the experience !!

20.01.2022 Here is a new release of the new 3M car wrapping film - 1380. What is the difference between 1080 and 1380 ? A huge amount !! The 1080 will stretch by 30% but the 1380 will stretch by 50% !!! So what does this mean ?!! When the film is installed to deep channels and recesses it offers excellent conformability and the lifting resistance is greatly enhanced offering installers and customers more confidence because this is the main areas where car wrapping film can fail. ... 3M will continue to be my favourite film when installing car wraps, I cant wait for 1380 to be available in the complete 3M range of colours and textures. https://www.facebook.com/3mWrapsuk/posts/1368348756575442

19.01.2022 It was time to give my car a change of color from the Hexis Black Carbon Fibre, Hexis Green chrome and Hexis gloss green metallic films. What to choose next ?!! The amazing 3M Psychadelic I know there are a few cars getting around with the new 3M colors, but this film is so amazing that I just dont care !! The colors you get from this just makes me smile !

17.01.2022 So the next exciting job I was asked to install was safety strips to the glass in a brand new building These have to be 900mm from the finished floor level, and a minimum of 75mm wide to comply to human impact safety standards in case a human decides to slam into the clear glass, all I can say is that it works very well !

07.01.2022 Today I was asked to install car wrapping film to steel columns to make them look neat and tidy and very very glossy. They will have frosted acrylic panels attached to them and will be used as a display. It is very surprising exactly how much film you use ! The join was put on the corner to try as much as possible to disguise it.

06.01.2022 This Mazda CX 9 started out as an ordinary car, not any more !! 3M Satin Black is a beautiful film to use on all chrome to give the car a special unique look, and to add sportiness and spice just a dash of red accents ! These vehicles do not last long and sell like hot cakes after this kind of customisation, it was a pleasure working on such a nice vehicle.

05.01.2022 It is interesting how much of a difference window tinting can make to a view, this house looks on to a nice lake but because of the outlook there is still a large amount of glare and light coming through the front windows of the house even though there is a good 6 foot wide verandah ! Fast forward to film installation day and voila ! glare reduced, fading reduced, eye strain reduced and a fantastic result. The picture marked 0 has no film, number 2 has 2 panels tinted and th...ree is nearly complete. As an added bonus my beautifully wrapped car is lingering in the background :) As you can see this is a simple solution to a common problem, Film used is LLumar N.S. 28 % VLT - this refers to 28% Visual Light Transmission or the amount of light you can see with the naked eye that is transmitted through the glass after the film has been installed.

04.01.2022 Wrapping cars for Mazda is extremely rewarding, they are the most friendly and helpful bunch of people I have met, it is always a pleasure to start on the next project. Its amazing how nice a new Mazda can look with a black roof, black door handles, black side mirrors and black grill, the special ones get a red or blue stripe in the grill :)

04.01.2022 When the clear coat goes off and starts peeling on the horizontal surfaces of your car it can look ugly. After some careful sanding and application of some car wrap vinyl film you can make your car look as good as new !
