24.01.2022 FDC LESSON Another week another lesson!... This weeks is all about - Timing Have you found yourself spending too long on a particular activity only to have children become restless and bored? Have you found yourself get through activities super quick only to have nothing left to do? Today I will be going through TIMING and what is the right amount of time to spend on different activities based on ages of children. 22.01.2022 MY DAY One of my favourite things to read about on social media posts is seeing what other people do in their days! So I thought I would share what my days look like, you know, a little behind-the-scene stuff!... 5.30AM morning walk for an hour or so 7.00AM breakfast and getting the kids organised for school 7.45AM school run 8.30AM tidy up the house, washing and stuff 9.00AM get work done - online content + planning [all while the hanging out with my baby!] 12.00PM have some lunch 12.30PM Take baby to the park and hang out with her 3.00PM school run 4.00PM cook dinner and get kids fed 6.00PM Dance party in the lounge room with the kids + Hubby 8.00PM start getting kids to bed 9.00PM I head to bed! That’s my whole day today! Obviously my days looked a whole lot different when I was running my FDC. I would love for you to share what your day looked like today. Nicky

12.01.2022 FRIDAY FUN TIPS This weeks FUN TIPS are:... Be sure to focus on your timing of activities, transitions, meals etc to really help your day run smoothly [see my video from Monday for some more info about this] Children of different ages have VERY different attention spans. Keep this in mind when planning activities. You can always set up your CORE activity and then have a side activity ready to go for early finishers/those that are bored of the 1st one! 05.01.2022 CAR FOR SALE... Perfect for Family Day Care! I bought this beautiful car 5 years ago when I started my Family Day Care and now it is time to sell her. This 8 Seater Toyota Tarago has been a God send for my family and I. It allowed us to get out and meet other educators, do school runs and go on adventures. ...
