22.01.2022 Static Ink will be attending the Melbourne tattoo expo again this year. We will have the same booth as last year. Come by and experience the crazyness for yourself. When 5 7 December Opening Times Friday 5 December, 12 10pm... Saturday 6 December, 12 10pm Sunday 7 December, 11am 7pm Where Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, 2 Clarendon Street, Southbank The fourth Melbourne expo will take place on 5th 7th December at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The 2013 event attracted over 10,000 visitors as well as an incredible range of both international and local artists, attractive retail vendors, exciting entertainers and special VIP guest international pinup model and judge on TVs Best Ink, Sabina Kelley. International artists showcasing their skills included Randy Engelhard from Heaven of Colours, Germany; Jon Mesa from Bang Bang Tattoo Parlour, New York; Timmy B from Black 13 Tattoo, Nashville; Zack Singer from Zack Singer Ink, Texas; and Horiel Shinshu from 7th Heaven Artwork Studio, Japan. Local talent taking part in the action included Mick Squires from Behind Closed Doors Studio and Jamin Swaneveld from Last Frontier Tattoos, Melbourne; Terence Tait from Ink Ur Bod, Cairns; and Teneile Napoli from Garage Ink, Queensland. A huge line-up of entertainment was on offer across the three days including a Pin-Up pageant, burlesque performances, tattoo contests and live music. Plus there was a car and motorcycle display, a retro barbershop and a kids corner with face painting, family games and temporary tattoos. A range of stalls showcasing alternative fashion, accessories, body jewellery, tattoo supplies, artworks, skate decks, books and magazines, and even the latest tattoo removal techniques were also on offer.
