We'd like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and I am sure we all hope that the New Year turns out better than this one

18.01.2022 If you are interested in hiring the Red Hen for your meeting or small group, we are reopening for bookings from 2nd January 2021, with Covid safety QR code or sign in- still only $5 per hour. Please phone 0434401237 to book

18.01.2022 Just to confirm what you probably have already realised, the Red Hen Studio is closed until further notice and not taking any bookings until the Health Authorities say its safe to do so.

17.01.2022 From tomorrow Monday 6th July, the Red Hen Studio will be open for bookings again with a little difference. Under the guidelines of the Covid 19 Stage 3 plan, the interior area allows a maximum of 21 people which when divided into the 2 interior spaces, works out to 9 in the first and 11 in the second area. Although the 1.5 m rule is encouraged, it is difficult to implement with the set up of table and chairs but have been arranged as best as possible. There is hand sanitiser available and you are requested to write your contact details on the page provided for tracking purposes if it becomes necessary. Please note you will need to bring your own refreshments as the water and kettle has been removed for the time being.

17.01.2022 Just Amazing -that's dedication to knitting. Although our Coffee and Cake group folded, the Red Hen Studio is still available to hire if anyone would like to start a new group.

17.01.2022 Hi all, due to the current government restrictions it has been decided to cancel the Have a Dabble Group and the Tarot Card workshop plus a few others that were in the pipeline. However having said that the Red Hen is still currently available to hire for small meetings or gatherings. Please bring your own sanitising sprays etc if it makes you feel safer, as although it is mopped and kept in a clean condition, we are unable to supply these items.

17.01.2022 Unfortunately the decision has been made to cancel the Coffee and C.A.K.E crafty Thursdays until further notice. However, to those who are able, please continue to make the poppies and pompoms, as it is very likely they will still be needed for the proposed events in September and November.

A Remembrance Day display is being planned in Strath and we are looking for donations of red or purple poppies- either knitted or crocheted so if you would like to contribute,there is an easy pattern below and a knitted one will be posted later today.
