23.01.2022 With the restrictions easing tennis tournaments have been back under way. Baden has come back to the scene with a bang winning 2 u/10s tournaments and making finals in u/12s which included a hard fought victory against the winner of u/12s tournament the previous week in sydney. Keep up the hard work buddy!!

21.01.2022 On Saturday Nathan Woll Nicholas Quinn and Luke Jurancic dropped their racquets and picked up some paint brushes with Leanne Yates and Jessica Yates to freshen up the clubhouse. The main room has been fully painted and now have the kitchen and flooring left to do in the near future. I want to say a big thank you to all that helped out, I can’t thank you all enough!

Ages 4-9 from 9-12 ($30 per person each day) Ages 9+ from 12.30-2.30 ($20 per person each day) Due to covid-19 bookings are limited to the first 30 players. 19.01.2022 This week we held our first ever doubles finals for the Wednesday squad and Thursday competition. We had some new faces on the podium winning their first ever medals. On Wednesday Katie and Josie defeated Jaylan and Will to take out the doubles medals. It was Josie, Will and Jaylan’s first ever squad medals. And on Thursday Jem and Baxter won the finals against Eden and Scott. Congratulations Eden and Jem who picked up their first medals as well. Eden was very excited to pl...ay with Scott who was at the top of the ladder after the regular weeks. Tex and Lodi played well in the closely fought semi-final as did Lewis and Alex. Finn, Lily and Archie B all played well too but just missed out on finals this time. Better luck next time to all that didn’t make win a medal! I want to say a big thank you to all the players who come along during the term and a huge thank you to Flynn Bailey Stephen Young and Amelia for looking after the comps every week, it would not be possible without your help!

16.01.2022 Yesterday was the finals for the Thursday competition. In the Thiem draw final Lily won against Scott to claim her first ever winner trophy and in the Osaka draw final Baxter won against Alexander to claim his first ever winner trophy in the Thursday comp. Next Thursday will be our first ever doubles finals so please do come along and have some fun for the final week of the term!

10.01.2022 What makes a true champion? Baden (in the photo) came first in our under 12 division and 2nd in our 14 and under division. He is only 9!!! He played from 8am - ...7pm and spent over 8hs on court. I asked his dad how many days a week he practices and everything made sense when I heard from him he plays tennis 6 to 7 days a week. I thanked him for participating in two events and his effort and he replied ‘we do it because we love it, it’s a good fun!’ We only shared a day together but I feel so connected to this dad and son. It is that love for the game that makes a true champion. I hope players and families can get a feeling of how much we love tennis and coaching, but above all how proud we are of having you all as part of our tennis family.

09.01.2022 SUPER SERIES STARTING SOON! The 10/U will still be FAST4 Green ball. The 14/U, 18/U and Opens will be 2 sets and a MTB (no ad deuce). This will mean that most players will start at 8am. Due to numbers and court availability some players will be asked to arrive at 9am as not everyone will be playing the first round. You will be advised at the time of the event. A doubles event will be held at Wollongong on 15 November. To enter all players need to sign up on the utr app. Entries and payments for the events can be made on the app. Feel free to speak with Luke if you have any queries or assistance
