11.01.2022 St Augustine wrote this beautiful prayer: Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch or weep tonight,... and give your angels charge over those who sleep. Tend your sick ones, O Lord Jesus Christ; rest your weary ones; bless your dying ones; soothe your suffering ones; pity your afflicted ones; shield your joyous ones; and all for your love's sake. Amen. Its my prayer for you tonight. Thanks to Heather Patacca for posting it for me to share!

08.01.2022 This week we are encouraging you to wear a different colour each to day to reflect the things we as Christians are to put on from Colossians 3. Monday - Red - Compassion Tuesday - Yellow/Orange - Kindness Wednesday - Green - Humility Thursday - Blue - Gentleness... Friday - Pink/Purple - Patience Share your photos of your coloured outfits on our page or with your small group and pray that God would help you put on the virtue and show it in your actions! And dont forget Forgiveness and Love which bind it all together

08.01.2022 This lockdown year has put unique pressure on all our relationships, whether single or married. We havent been able to be with our village much and thats hard! There are particular pressures on marriages in this season and we as a church are keen to be supporting couples in this time. I have discovered this great course we are able to run online and each couple can do at their own pace and time. If you are interested please let me know and I can arrange costs and access. PS. Keith and Sarah who run the course are a beautiful, gentle Christian couple I know from my time in Sydney.
08.01.2022 Sadly our dear friend Annette died yesterday and is now with her friend Jesus. We praise God for his great love for Annette and the faithful member of St Augustine's she was. Funeral details will come as soon as possible, but with the current restrictions the service will be live-streamed and attendance, limited to 10, will be by invitation only. This photo is from less than a month ago when I visited Annette at Twin Parks so she could be part of our Esther Bible Reading.

04.01.2022 Remembrance Day 11 November. Today is Remembrance Day, Lest we forget. A prayer of remembrance Lord God, help us this day to remember the sacrifice of those caught up in war, and the generations of men, women and children who have died in the cause of liberty and peace. Help us to remember those who still bear the physical and mental scars and disabilities of their service.... Help us to remember the widows, girlfriends, parents and orphans and all those who waited in vain for the return of a loved one. Help us to remember the mateship, agony, courage and compassion of war service, but save us from ever glorifying the horror and tragedy of war. Lord God, help us to remember. Amen See more
