25.01.2022 Saturday pennant Rd 3 results and ladder and Rd 4 teams and Rd 2 Midweek results, ladder and teams for the coming week. Midweek will be at home to Lake Bolac , and this should be a very close game.

18.01.2022 GBD Pennant Season 20-21 Saturday pennant began yesterday 31st October with Division One winners on the day over Aradale by 6 shots up. Best rink goes to Andrew Sharp and players Division Two went to Aradale Stawell went down by 12 shots and the only winning rink was Rob Maconachie and players... Midweek pennant begins November 9th with our first game at home to VRI Bankers had 6 players for their first game (if your not playing pennant then you can still get a game, all welcome) Last but not least Melbourne Cup day Tuesday 1 pm start in mufti Usual sweeps so bring your

17.01.2022 Pennant Rd 2. Division 1 played at VRI and won 2 out of 3 rinks. Grant Seeary had the best rink win on the day Division 2 were at home to VRI had they won all 3 rinks. Best rink went to Makka again and Keith Mitchell got up by 1 shot, a very close game Midweek played at home to VRI and all rinks had a good win on the day. Quite a warm day to start the season. 14.01.2022 Attention Corporate Bowlers Hi all, just a quick word on Corporate bowls. At this stage, due to COVID-19, we are unable to start corporate bowls as the club is not allowed to organise events for non members. When this restriction is lifted and we are reasonably certain that the competition will run without interruption we will make a start but this may not be until after Christmas. I would also like to inform everyone that after 15 years Ian has decided to step down as corp...orate organiser. He has done a fantastic job and the strength of the competition is a testament to all his efforts. I will now be trying to fill his shoes. 13.01.2022 A-Grade Championship played today in hot conditions between both Andrews’ Sharp and Cray. Great draw bowling resulted in some tight heads, and according to umpire Kerry, was a great game to watch. Congratulations to Andrew Sharp who won the title 25 to 19.

08.01.2022 GBD Champion of Champions final today at Ararat Bowling Club between Stawell’s Angela Hodgetts and St Golf’s Annette Dwyer in cold southerly winds. Final score saw Angela 25-7. A very well deserved and played win to Angela.
