25.01.2022 It was announced this afternoon that a Forest Fire Management Victoria (FFMV) firefighter lost his life in a car accident on Friday while traveling with a colleague in North East Victoria. This tragic accident is a reminder of the invaluable contribution made by so many different agencies and personnel in the effort to protect lives and property each bushfire season - the CFA are lucky to be supported by dedicated local teams from Parks Victoria, DELWP and FFMV. To our colleagues in green, thank you for all that you do - may your colleague Rest In Peace, and his loved ones have the support they need at this difficult time.
