23.01.2022 With mixed feelings we say 'see you later' to Ebony. While it is sad for us, it is exciting for Eb. She now goes on maternity leave with bub due in 4 weeks. She has been an inspiration to us all with the knowledge and enthusiasm she has put forward. Good luck Eb and see you back in February. We welcome Sofie to the crew, who is a new comer to the area and comes well qualified. Her time with us so far has shown that the children love playing with her and doing activities and ...staff admire her energy and imagination. We will now be seeing more of her as she takes some of Ebony's shifts. Please introduce yourself if we haven't already and make her welcome. News of the Xmas closure in our next post. Sue and the crew See more

18.01.2022 Hi everyone ! It's been a while. Welcome to all our new babies that have been born over the past few months, and to our new friends who have enrolled recently. Hopefully we have gone over the "hump" and days will now start to get longer so we can get out and enjoy our new turf. With school holidays approaching fast, we are hosting an exciting venture for the first week of the holidays. Simone will be running craft groups in the residence beside our Centre for 6 to 12 yea...r olds. She has taken the initiative to provide this age group with something to do during this week. For more details see Simone on Facebook and book early as there are limited places. This activity is in no way connected or involved with the Centre, but we are happy to offer Simone the venue. If you are going to the snow, remember you can get very sun burnt from the reflection off the snow. Remember your sunscreen. Until next time, enjoy, stay safe and be happy. Sue See more

17.01.2022 THE YEAR IN REVIEW We hope you all had a wonderful Xmas. Throughout the year we have achieved some very important things. 2 Staff members attended 4 seminars in Albury in Quality Improvement and Assessment and Rating, while all three attended a First Aid Course directed specifically to children. This was presented by specialist nurses involved in the field.... All staff attended a full First Aid Course in Wagga Wagga so that they are aware of the latest methods and practices. Robyne completed her Certificate III in Childcare, while Ebony completed her Diploma in Child Care Studies. We were lucky to have Abbey Anderson with us on a casual basis, who has also completed her Early Learning Teaching degree. We wish Abbey all the best in her school placement. We had a few Work Experience personnel. Congratulations to Chelsea and Paige who also achieved their Certificate III in Child Care, and thanks to Breannah and Lacey who helped on the very busy days. Lacey started with work experience, but enjoyed it so much she helped out in other areas as well. We are looking forward to an exciting year ahead with new and exciting ideas. See more

We wish them all well. We will wind up this Thursday with the children having their Xmas Party in the afternoon. (ring for details if you haven't caught up already). We will resume in the week commencing 21 January 2019 by appointment only as we have to have 2 staff on duty and this needs to be gauged by atte...ndances. Bookings by Friday 21 December 2018. Normal care will commence 28 January 2019. We look forward to seeing all our friends back to start a new fun year. 12.01.2022 Here we are with summer gone and now into Autumn. Summer heat took a toll on our lawn for the children, with the excessive heat. Not to be deterred, we have resurrected the side yard for the children to play on, while we lay new turf in the back yard. This will arrive on Wednesday, ready to start laying on Thursday. Soft Fall area, Sand Pit and activity areas will still be available to children with no restrictions needed to be placed on the children's activities. If anyone... would like to help with the laying of the turf on Thursday 11/4/2019, it would be greatly appreciated. I would like to welcome our new families, and the new children of existing families that have joined us this year. We have commenced our Pre-School program and will get into full swing after easter. Children will be making Easter Bonnets and preparing Easter Craft during the next two weeks and would like to invite Parents, Relatives and Friends to see their creations on Thursday 18 April at 2.30p.m. A Bar-B-Que will be provided after the Bonnet Parade. ( Numbers are required). In the event we don't see you on the day, we would like to wish you a safe and joyous school holiday and Easter break. See more

10.01.2022 Terry, myself and all the staff would like to wish you a safe and enjoyable Easter break. A big thank you to Nick Mathews and to Mark Chandler (who came up from Albury) for laying the new turf in the back yard of the Centre. What a difference it has made. We look forward to being able to play on it in a few weeks when it has settled. Enjoy. Sue Chandler

04.01.2022 In response to the many enquiries I have received, I would like to advise that we are currently accepting new enrolments for 2019 in all age groups. You can send your details to our email address and I will answer your enquiry as soon as I can. Our email address is [email protected] Alternatively, I can be reached on 0269204221.

04.01.2022 Well half the year has gone already. A big welcome to our new enrolments and a thank you to our established children for making their integration easy and stress free. Congratulations to Carlie, Brad, Scarlett, Jaxon and Baxter Pearse on the arrival of Poppy. An even number. Also, Congratulations to Gemma, Matt,Hayley, and Lilly McPherson, on the arrival Mason. With two older sisters I can see him not being starved for attention. You may notice that there is some refurbishin...g works being carried out at the Centre. One of the main items is re-painting. You can be assured that this is being done when the children will not be affected by fumes and/or smells, but the end results will be fresh and appealing. So far this year the children have enjoyed Cooking Days, Farm awareness, Beach awareness, Dinosaur month with the children learning names and habits and identifying them as they play plus many more and a Pyjama Day coming up to support the Asthma foundation. The big one the children enjoyed was the excursion to the oval where the Police, Fire Brigade and Ambulance put on a display and explained items to the children and let them participate in activities. Thank you to Lockhart Central School and St Joseph's School for participating in this activity with us. We would like to wish the children luck with their Vegetable Garden they have started and hope the weather is kind to them. Vacancies are still available in our Pre-School program. See more

04.01.2022 With the end of second term, comes the important time for children starting school next year, being our preschool program. Our 'School Readiness' program has been a great success for several years with a consolidated program to ensure children are well prepared for their next big step in life. While all children 'learn through play' there is more that they need to be ready for school. Enrolments are now being taken, and remember, we don't close for school holidays. We hope to have a successful intake to maximise the environment for all children.

03.01.2022 Here we are almost to the end of the Xmas holidays. I hope you all had a happy and enjoyable time celebrating with family and friends. We will be back in full swing from Tuesday 29 January 2019 as Monday is a public holiday. However, by popular demand, we will be open on Monday 21 January, Tuesday 22 January and Thursday 24 January to meet the needs of our clients. Remember, to continue to meet these needs, as the ONLY Long Day Care Centre, we need your support. We care for children from 6 weeks of age to 6 years ( Providing an extensive Pre-School Program for 4 and 5 year olds ) and Vacational and OOSH care for school children up to 12 years of age, providing structured age appropriate groups. We look forward to seeing you in 2019

01.01.2022 Holidays again!!!! Hope all the school children on holidays and their teachers and assistances have a wonderful, safe time. As usual we are not on holidays at this time, our holiday doesn't come until Xmas, so if you need us, we are open. A few congratulations to be made. To Carlie, Brad, Scarlet, Jaxon, Baxter and Poppy, a new baby brother. Welcome Dusty. Also a special mention to Robyne Smith and Ebony Chandler. Robyne has completed her Certificate III in Children's Servic...es and Ebony has completed her Diploma. A lot of hard work was put in by both, and both received very high accolades from the training body ECTARC. Staff are attending seminars throughout the year to maintain a high level awareness of the latest trends, procedures and Regulations. We are into our final stage of 'School Readiness', and encourage anyone with a child starting Kindy next year to consider enrolling. We can be contacted on 0269204221 at any time. Cheers to all.
