Here, I’m trying to hit a 5s eccentric which is used for creating more time under tension (targeting hypertrophy) and to challenge myself by holding the front rack position for longer (this is usually an exercise I neglect because I don’t like doing it ). Performing this movement in the front rack position is important because you are required to be in this position for other mo...vements (eg. clean and jerk ).
