25.01.2022 I'M STILL OPEN! As I am in the "metro shire" area I must revert to previous restrictions. Effective Thursday only 1 caregiver per appointment is allowed. I can still travel between the metro and regional areas as its for work. HOWEVER, all clients who are classified as living in regional shires will be mobile appointments only. Stay safe.

24.01.2022 This occurred locally. You can be the best driver in the world. It won't save you from the other road users.

20.01.2022 We all love sleeping babies in cars. But this image of MY CHILDREN makes me sick and acts as a reminder of how far I have come... Back in 2013 after a car accident I needed to replace my seats. I explained to baby store staff that I needed to fit 3 across my Nissan X-Trail the Children were 2yrs 5mths and 1yr 4mths at time of purchase. (Almost 3 & almost 2 in this image). Both forward facing because Back in 2013 they didn't have ERF seats and my children were too tall to rea...r face in what was available. Both children met the height markers and I was sold these... this image never looked right to me. But I had no reason not to trust baby shop staff. Until it came to fitting a seat for baby number 3 and I struggled to get one to fit. I actually had a fitter laugh at me and tell me id never get 3 across with the seats I had. I was on my own and did my research. Hours upon hours of research and that's when I realised that parents and caregivers deserve better from shop staff and fitters. I got 3 across without their help, (actually help came from fitters in NSW via Facebook... I'd still love to work with them for a week i think i could learn so much). I kept baby number 3 rear facing until 19mths which was the highest markers available at the time. I did some more research and became a fitter, I like to believe I am the fitter caregivers deserve, one that genuinely cares about the well-being of your children. I don't tell you that I'm not putting your 1yr old in a 6m - 8yrs seat because I want to make you buy another car seat. I tell you that because I did it and this is what it looks like and its downright dangerous. Had we been in another accident my sons little body would have sustained some serious injuries. Why because he has not got the side impact protection and head support/protection he needed. Take another look at how very wrong this picture looks and remember it when you shop for a child restraint... think about it when your child begs to be out of a seat... does it look right? If it doesn't look right then it isn't right! Keep your children rear facing for as long as you can. Keep them in a 0 - 4 seat for as long as you can. Keep them in an inbuilt 6pt harness for as long as you can. By the way... my daughter turns 10 next month and is still in an inbuilt 6pt harness (almost outgrown) My son turns 9 shortly after and he has one adjustment left in his restraint before its outgrown. Stay safe, Stay Put.

20.01.2022 I've just seen this statement from Joie

17.01.2022 Offical Recall. Please return the restraint to Baby Bunting. If you are not sure what to replace this restraint with I'm happy to discuss alternative options with you to suit your child and vehicle. https://www.productsafety.gov.au//bright-children-s-produc

16.01.2022 Whilst I plan to remain open until I can't any longer I have put restrictions in place. The most significant one is I will not have any direct contact with any adult or child. I am happy to use gloves at your request, but I will use hand sanitiser when you arrive and when you leave. I will also not accept cash payments at this time it is Visa or Mastercard only via Square contactless payments. ... As always if you or anyone in your household is unwell please reschedule. Thank you.

15.01.2022 Heads up everyone. If you are in the market for a new 0-4 restraint wait a few weeks...Heads up everyone. If you are in the market for a new 0-4 restraint wait a few weeks...

15.01.2022 While I'm all for "hacks" in the home especially when they save time or money. The one area you should never compromise is child passenger safety. Good pick up from the team at Littles child restraints. Just to be perfectly clear this is what you DON'T do.

15.01.2022 Facebook reminded me that 10yrs ago today I installed my first child restraint. It was for my daughter who was due 15 days later (born 10 days later). Hindsight tells me I needed a gated buckle so I didn't have to tighten the darn thing all the time. Everything else was correct. I was extremely determined to get a restraint that rear faced to 12kg. I did and she remained rear facing for 12mths until she reached the rear facing limits shortly afterwards her baby brother arrive...d and i put her in a 6mth - 8yr seat. Because its what you did. I now recognise I was wrong AND I was lucky. My children were lucky. Please let me be the voice for your children. I will never judge you for having a go at installing the restraint yourself. Sometimes people's ingenuity shocks me or I may giggle at the creative ways you install the restraint. I will inform you on how/why its unsafe. But most importantly I'll be thankful for your children's sake that you called me. Child restraints are not a job they are my passion. Stay safe. Stay Put. See more

13.01.2022 I couldn't have said it better. Stay safe

12.01.2022 The reason my business is called Stay Put is because children are safest when they remain in the restraint category they fit by height not age. Rear face until they reach the maximum shoulder height markers. Keep them in the 0 - 4 yrs restraints until they have outgrown them. Then Keep them in a (Type G) inbuilt 6pt harness until they have outgrown that. Finally there are a handful of booster seats to last them even longer still. ... My children are 7, 9 & 10 every one if them is in a suitable child restraint and I wouldn't have it any other way. There are no second chances. Stay Safe. Stay Put. https://www.kidspot.com.au//5077d67e62455a6a368585c8b2655c

09.01.2022 It is with sadness that I announce that I will not be available for on-site installations during the stage 4 lockdown in Melbourne. I can potentially offer assistance via phone/video call. However I need to investigate that option further. To all my clients please stay safe.

06.01.2022 I don't usually promote sales but this seat is a fantastic 0-4 restraint particularly for 3 across with its narrow design and short rear facing depth. I can't believe the price. https://www.babybunting.com.au/infa-quattro-caprice-0-4-yea

04.01.2022 I have just received an email from my accreditation provider ACRI. They made a very valid point about the service I provide being required to allow your family to travel safely within the law. Whilst I am investigating the requirements of a COVID safe workplace to ensure I can comply and maintain the service you all rely upon. I am quietly confident that I will be able to continue to operate. I will however be reducing my travel zone and will not go into any areas where the...re is a known operator still providing this service as I will not be deemed the closest provider. I have a lot more research to do to ensure I get this right. Stay safe all.
