16.01.2022 Dear Players and Parents, We hope this message finds you well. The days are getting longer and we hope that stage 4 is soon behind us. During the last few weeks the committee has been working through a number of financial matters. Please read below for important updates on these. Donations... We are extremely grateful for the generosity of every individual and family who has chosen to make a donation to help cover costs this year. Whether you have contributed only a small amount or more than requested, we are very appreciative. Every little bit counts this year and it is very much an investment in the club’s future. If you would still like to contribute, we are suggesting a contribution as per the below: - $100 per senior - $75 per uni student/apprentice/first year senior/social member/other - $50 per junior (to a maximum of $100 per household for juniors) Please make your contribution to: Name: St Bede’s Hockey Club BSB: 633000 Account: 149941874 Comment: Player first and last name We are grateful for any contribution. We also understand if you are not in a position to make a contribution. Club fees As a committee we have effectively worked through the activity of refunding club fees for 2020 for all players. If you paid club fees and have not heard from us, please contact the committee on [email protected]. Refund of undelivered uniforms and season launch day tickets We will be contacting individuals in the next week to organise refunds for these items. Refund of HV registration subs Unfortunately we have still not heard from HV as to their intentions on HV player registration subs. We will update you through TeamApp when HV provides us with more information. Thank you again on behalf of the 2020 St Bede’s committee. 04.01.2022 Dear Players and Parents, Training for Wed 8 July is ON as previously advertised. The Victorian State Government has imposed level 3 restrictions for Melbourne, coming into effect at 11.59pm on Wed 8 July.... This means that training for Wed 8 July will finish before the restrictions come into force. Please turn up and enjoy what will likely be our last training for some time. We will keep you all up to date on further announcements from HV regarding the season as they come to hand. See you all at training.

01.01.2022 Dear Players and Parents, We are all still digesting the news of the last 24 hours about the impending stage 3 restrictions and what it means for hockey and our season. Although HV have suspended activities at this point. THE SEASON HAS NOT BEEN CANCELLED.... For this reason, we have opted to go ahead with training tonight for a number of reasons. Hockey provides us all with significant opportunities to socialise, exercise and support our mental and physical health. This is even more important in the current environment. For the next 6 weeks we will not have that opportunity, so we are encouraging all available players to attend training tonight so that we can see you in person and minimise the time between now and when we can next train as a group.
