23.01.2022 During PE lessons, before school and during lunch breaks our students have been skipping up a storm to improve their heart health and overall physical fitness. Behind the scenes, they have been raising money for the Heart Foundation, a very worthy cause. Our Jump Rope for Heart program has now finished and I am very proud to say that after setting a goal of $5000, we actually raised $6291.02! This is an absolutely fantastic effort. Well done everyone! The prizes are on order and I will present them to the students when they arrive. Thank you for supporting the Jump Rope for Heart program and keep skipping to keep your heart healthy.

12.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!! This term during Year 5’s STEM lessons the students have been participating in a Diocese wide STEM design challenge called Minds@work. They were looking at ways they can provide light to people in third world countries. After designing a prototype and creating a flip grid video, 3 of our students, Zafar Preena, Safiya Higgins and Sophie Adams, were chosen to present their prototype to a panel of judges from CQ university. After a well presented explanation of their design the judges crowed our team the winners of Minds@work 2020.
