25.01.2022 The kindy class had a fun filled water play day today. Lots of laughter and giggles, water pistol and water balloon fights as well as a visit from the fire truck! So proud of these little cherubs and what they’ve achieved this year.

Taylor has made the brave decision to make a difference by cutting and donating her hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition. 23.01.2022 In Science the Year 4 students were required to build a boat that will float and hold at least 10 marbles. As they are learning about the properties of materials, they had to use the right materials to ensure their boat would float. After testing their boat on water, they soon found out which materials are suitable and not suitable for building a boat. A lot of fun was had creating some fantastic designs.

17.01.2022 Today the Year Twos and Threes visited Soldiers Park and Minninup to learn about the Wagyl and its significance to the Noongar people and the Collie community. We were lucky enough to have Mrs Sharon Cooke teach us about the resting place of the Wagyl and show us some traditional bush food

17.01.2022 The school was lucky enough to take part in a cricket clinic at recess with the Perth Scorchers today. It was fantastic to see so many of the students joining in and taking part.

16.01.2022 The Year 4’s have settled well into their new class and were very excited about having their own computer to use in class!! During our Design and Technology lesson, students were able to brainstorm the different types of materials that are around us that are used to make different objects.

14.01.2022 Edit: were all sorted thanks Parents! On Monday (21st September) we have Triple Jump for Year 4/5/6 as part of our pre-carnival events during their sports lesson. 14.01.2022 The Kindy class had a great day being Pirates today. Pirate Stinky left a treasure map with clues to find his buried treasure. We found the remains of a pirate skeleton and dug up the treasure chest. We sorted and shared out the loot. Kids worked together to make pirate ship flags, the Kindy made mini pirate cannons were a hit and bellies were filled with a bounty of food. The kids will certainly sleep well tonight.

14.01.2022 To celebrate the end of the year Pre-Primary and Year One went to the Donnybrook Apple Park for a day of fun climbing and spinning!! Thanks to our parent helpers and Miss Dee.

13.01.2022 In Science the Year 2 students had an amazing time learning about chemical reactions. They made a volcano out of sand and then placed a mixture of bi-carb soda and red food dye together in the middle of the volcano. As soon as they added vinegar to the mixture it produced a chemical reaction that looked like the volcano was erupting.

07.01.2022 Last week Charlotte, Ava & Georgina from Year 5 and Clarrie, Zane and Montana from Year Six, were selected to attend a STEM Challenge at CSHS. Congratulations to Montana and his team (students from other schools) who created the longest marble run and Clarrie and his team who created the fastest marble run. Much appreciation to CSHS for the invitation and Mrs McDonald for providing this awesome opportunity for our students.

07.01.2022 We began farewelling our graduating students during our Graduation Mass this morning. Our current elected student leaders passed on the leadership responsibilities to our 2021 elected leaders during a leadership ceremony. What a wonderful bunch of children!

Donations can be placed in the baskets in each classroom. Our Pastoral Ministry have set a goal of 350 items to be collected over the next two weeks to earn a free dress day.
