25.01.2022 Stay tuned for the P&F Lebanon Fundraiser to be drawn live at 1:30pm today!

23.01.2022 The Year 7 2021 Orientation Day was such an exciting and special day for the staff and students. Students had a taste of a typical high school routine. They had the opportunity to visit school premises and also attended mini lessons organised by Head of Departments to give the students an idea about the expectations and requirements of each subject. They ended the day with sporting activities organised by the PDHPE department. It was a pleasure to witness their positive involvement with a great level of enthusiasm. Until next year

22.01.2022 The Year 9 Cohort was proud to host a fundraising basketball event to raise funds for Lebanon in week 9. It was such a pleasure to witness the cheerful and positive vibes during the basketball tournament that took place throughout the week. Congratulations to the teachers for winning the competition against the Year 7 and 9 team by 2 points, it was a tough game! THANK YOU to all parents, teachers and staff members and who made this event possible. THANK YOU to the Year 9 cohort for their enthusiasm and positive attitude, a true reflection of our Maronite Values. We are very pleased to announce that we were able to raise $ 3500. God Bless our community.

22.01.2022 Today, in the universal Church, we celebrate the Feast of the Triumph of the Cross. In the Maronite Church, this also marks the beginning of a new season in our liturgical year and lasts for seven weeks. This season concludes the Maronite liturgical calendar. This feast holds great esteem in the Eastern Churches. It dates right back to the dedication of the commemoration of Church of the Resurrection in Jerusalem in the year 335. This feast is also born in the historical even...t of the holy cross’ return to Jerusalem. The Cross can be confronting, yet a source of comfort and purpose. May we keep our eyes on the Cross as we walk life’s journey, and know that God brings forth the good out of evil. Today, and every day, may we make the sign the cross with reverence and love, asking Our Lord to become the person He knows we can be as we ponder this short yet powerful prayer: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

15.01.2022 Congrats to SCNC on another great season in netball. This morning started calm with wind and sunshine, the sideline spectators however were anything but calm as... you could see the nerves on all the parent’s faces. The 12s took to the court. They started the game slowly but just like always slow and steady win the race. They ended up with a fantastic win, winning by 4 goals. Congratulations to the team for winning the Premiership and we know it won’t be your last! Our 15/16s & the Inters fought hard against their opposing teams, they knew they had a tough game ahead of them on Grand Final Day. Congratulations to both teams on never giving up and being Runners Up for 2020. We know these girls have many more Grand Finals in their future. Overall our club had a great season even though it was a short one. Thank you to all the players, parents, family, friends, umpires, coaches, managers & the executive team for your support throughout the year. Our 2020 season would not be possible if it wasn’t for your continuous support. Thank you & hope to see you all next year

15.01.2022 The children who will be starting in Kindergarten next year had an Orientation morning at the school today. The staff look forward to seeing them again next year.

11.01.2022 Today, St. Charbel’s staff and students came together to pray that God accept into His Kingdom, their dear priest Rev. Father Miled Azzi who served in the community, parish and school for almost fifteen years. Their prayer called on Our Lady and St Charbel to carry and accompany Fr Miled on his last trip in meeting Our Lord face to face. St Charbel’s College community - parents, students, staff and friends - express their sincere condolences to the Lebanese Maronite Order - e...specially to the community of monks at Appin and at St Charbel’s - to the close relatives and extended family of Rev. Father Miled and the Jieh village. May Our Lord grant us vocations like Father Miled. May Rev. Fr Miled Rest In Peace amongst the company of the Saints.

09.01.2022 A Message from His Excellency Bishop Antoine-Charbel Tarabay on the Feast of the Triumph of the Cross Friends, On this eve of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, it is a Maronite tradition to light bonfires or candles in remembrance of St Helena who lit bonfires on mountains all the way from Jerusalem to Constantinople to notify Constantine that she had found the Cross.... As we cannot gather in large groups this year, I invite you on this occasion to light a candle tonight in your home asking our Lord Jesus Christ to protect Lebanon and the Lebanese people during this time of hardship and suffering, by the power of His Holy Cross. We also pray for Australia that it may be safe from disasters and protected from every harm. I wish you all a Blessed Feast of the Holy Cross!
