19.01.2022 This Good Friday, as we commemorate the death of the Lord, we know that the experience of death and of bereavement, which is always difficult and painful, is mu...ch more so at this moment because our normal way of grieving is largely denied to us. Perhaps only a few of us have lost people in these last few days and weeks. Some others among us may, perhaps, experience this in the weeks to come. But all of us, united as we are in a community of faith, can join in prayer for those who are saddened at the death of a family member, a friend, or a much respected neighbour or colleague. See more

15.01.2022 FOURTH SUNDAY OF EASTER MASS ONLINE with Bishop Donald Sproxton, 11am AWST, Sunday 3 May 2020. Dear Brothers and Sisters, This Sunday 3 May, the Most Rev Donald... Sproxton will celebrate Mass at 11am for the Fourth Sunday of Easter also known as Good Shepherd Sunday and the 57th World Day of Prayer for Vocations. This celebration of the Eucharist provides the Perth Catholic community with the opportunity to hear the word of God and to make an act of Spiritual Communion together as an Archdiocese. It has long been a Catholic understanding that when circumstances prevent one from receiving Holy Communion, it is possible to make an act of Spiritual Communion which is a source of grace. Spiritual Communion means uniting one’s self in prayer with Christ’s sacrifice and worshipping him in his Body and Blood. Acts of spiritual Communion increase our desire to receive sacramental Communion and help us avoid the sins that would make us unable to receive Holy Communion worthily. 10.01.2022 ANZAC day 2020 God of love and liberty, we give thanks this day for the peace and security we enjoy, which was won for us through the courage and devotion of those who gave their lives in time of war. We pray that their labour and sacrifice may not be in vain, but that their spirit may live on in us and in generations to come. That the liberty, truth and justice which they sought to preserve may be seen and known in all the nations upon earth. This we pray in the name of the one who gave his life for the sake of the world, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. #drivewaysatdawn
