24.01.2022 St Christophers Netball Club would like to congratulate Amelia Kirgan who has not only been signed to a contract with ERNA Hawks Under 23 Premier League for the 2020 season but has also made stage 3 of NSW under 17s trials and she has also been offered a position with the NSW Swifts Academy! She is younger than the minimum age required, so this is a fantastic achievement! We are super proud and wish Amelia all the best in her future netball endeavours!!

23.01.2022 Wet Weather Should the weather be too wet to play tomorrow BCNA will announce any changes by 7:30am (for morning games) and 11.30am (for afternoon games). Wi...ll will publish our decision on our Facebook page and notify our club secretaries. Unless you hear anything different from BCNA or your club Secretaries - ALL GAMES ARE ON. Net Set Go will be played on their wet weather courts.

15.01.2022 Final post for the evening! Congratulations to Ashleigh Daus and Bridget Weeks. Ashleigh was awarded senior umpire of the year, and Bridget was awarded Junior coach of the year. Great achievement for both!!

15.01.2022 We have made it to Grand Final day this Satuday. All Net Set Go teams will all be playing at 11.30am. Scoreboards for the Grand Finals will be brought out by the Umpires. Scoreboards for the Net Set Go games will be available in the relevant Zones.

If you know absolutely anyone from neighbours, to friends or cousins please speak to them and see if they are interested. Wed love to let this little team fill the court. 11.01.2022 As the netball season has ended. These clinics may be the perfect chance to keep up your netball skills and fitness over the holiday break. Especially for teams that will be grading in 2021. International Sports Camps are running three netball camps in the December / January school holidays in Ryde and Moore Park. Each camp will have an experienced coaching panel with specialist guest coaching from Suncorp Super League players Paige Hadley, Sarah Klau, Sophie Craig and Claire... O'Brien. The camps will run over three days from 8.45 to 3.15 and are for players of all standards aged 5 to 15. As a special offer there is a 50% discount offer available for players aged 5 to 15 who book by November 15th. 05.01.2022 This Tuesday 1st December at 7pm is our AGM and General Business meeting. At this meeting is where we make all decisions regarding next year's season, so we would really appreciate as much feedback and support from our club by having as many of you attend. This years meeting will be held on zoom, so you don't even need to leave the house! We are also looking to fill numerous positions in our executive committee. Without these roles being filled, we will be unable to go ahead with the 2021 season, so it is crucial that we have some people step forward to join our committee and assist with the planning and preparation of our season. You do not need to be in this role forever, and we are happy to assist you along the way, however, we do need some volunteers. If you need any further information about what the roles may involve, please let me know.

If you are feeling sick or have any COVID symp...toms please do not come to your game. Your coaches will understand. Please respect all barriers. 04.01.2022 Training is back!!! To ensure the safety of our Netball family and to comply with our COVID Plan please note: Important Covid19 Conditions ... Do NOT come to training or a game if you have flu symptoms. Players are not to attend training if they are unwell, travelled overseas, travelled to Victoria, OR if they have been exposed to a person with COVID-19 in the preceding 14 days. Hand sanitiser is to be used before, during and after training. Equipment needs to be sanitised before and after training. No sharing of any personal items (drinkbottles, towels, medications etc) Please bring your own bottles clearly marked and sanitised. Players to come fully dressed and ready to train - Get in,Train,Get out. All participants are encouraged to download the COVID Safe App. Level C Training What is permitted (from July 1) Full training is allowed with no restrictions on group size. Full training with all drills is allowed on the court. Full training with body contact drills and practice games are allowed. Sharing of training equipment should be minimised where possible, however, continue to maintain cleaning and disinfectant measures. NO sharing of whistles. Ideally, there should be a minimum of 1 set of bibs per team. We understand that players may change positions during a game, but that same set should not be used again without disinfecting. What is NOT permitted Team huddles, handshakes and high fives. Multiplayer celebrations. Spitting

03.01.2022 Just a few reminders from Bankstown. - Players and Spectators should not be on the park anymore than than 15 mins before their game starts. - We ask that if you play in Zone A then enter/exit in Zone A. If you play in Zone B then enter/exit in Zone B. ZONE A - Courts 3 to 13... ZONE B - Courts 17 to 40 The barrier down the centre of the park is not to be crossed, you must walk around the clubhouse. - PLEASE leave as soon as possible after playing. - Players should have ONE spectator ONLY (managers are an additional count). While we would all love to be down supporting our girls its for the safety of everyone to ensure that our numbers dont exceed the allowed capacity on the courts. See more

02.01.2022 Round 1 - deferred til Saturday 25 July 2020 Recognising the evolving situation in our local area, BCNA Executive has made the decision to provide certainty ...to our members by deferring the season for an additional week to Saturday 25 July 2020. We know all of us were so very excited to get back on the courts. This decision has not been taken lightly. The Association and your Clubs have worked very hard to get us to this point however, due to circumstances beyond our control we have made this hard decision. The safety of our netball family and community has always been paramount to every aspect of our return to play and we hope you all understand and support this decision. We understand that this additional delay will raise many questions for people such as what the season may look like now and how this may affect you. We ask everyone to allow us a little time as we work through scenarios and options as an Executive and with your Clubs over the coming days. Please trust though that every impact is being considered and there will be a positive outcome for everyone. In the meantime, we will be sharing with you all the key elements of our Covid Safety Plan, in accordance with NSW Healths latest directions, for our return to play next week. Nicole Oram President
