24.01.2022 This week we celebrated NAIDOC Week - Always Was, Always Will Be. Our Year 3’s completed a collaborative NAIDOC jigsaw display. They are very proud of their masterpiece on display at the front of the school. Thank you Year 3!!



20.01.2022 We had some special visitors at school for morning tea today. Welcome Havana and Emma to our school community. It's great to have early enrolments for 2025! Congratulations to Temara and Jason Guiliany, and Kaitlyn and Anthony Marsilio on your gorgeous little girls.

19.01.2022 A fantastic day was had today by students in Yrs 3-6 with their touch games. Cooby and Woomera teams battled throughout the day with Woomera winning the final at the end of the day. Teams were from mixed year levels and many games ended in draws. What a great way to end the term!

18.01.2022 We all had a fun-filled day at our Swimming Carnival last Friday! Cooby were victorious in taking the shield this year! Maddison broke a record for the 11yr girls' breaststroke and the Cooby girls broke the Senior Girls 4x50m Freestyle relay record. Congratulations to all our students for their great swimming and sportsmanship! Congratulations also to our parents for their support and a great effort in the parent relay! 14.01.2022 YEAR 4 CAMP - DAY 2 The Year 4 class had a fantastic time on camp! It was wonderful to see the children trying new activities and surprising themselves with their fantastic achievements! We thank the awesome parents who came along to support us and the staff from Echo Adventure for such a great time!

12.01.2022 Congratulations to our Year 3 and 4 children who celebrated receiving the sacraments of Confirmation (Tuesday evening) and First Eucharist (Sunday morning). Thank you to parents and families, Fr. Kerry Costigan and Mrs Tania Gilbert for your support throughout the preparation of this important faith program. May the children be inspired by the love and the gift Jesus has given to them.

11.01.2022 Year 5 and 6 students enjoyed the Billy Slater League Tag Gala Day at Innisfail last week! We were very proud of our students for displaying great skill and sportsmanship. Thanks to the team from the NRL for running such a great day!
