24.01.2022 This week we’re praying for life-long learning. Lord God, thank you that you’ve given us minds to think and to learn, and call us to use them. As teachers and students return to school for term four, we pray that school holidays have been a time of rest and re-energisation for all. We pray that students and teachers around tasmania would return to classrooms with excitement. We pray for a quick return to routine and many opportunities for growing minds to engage and discover.... We pray also for uni students as semester draws to a close and exams approach. Please bless them with clear minds to remember what they’ve learnt and peace as they study. Help us also to teach and learn from one another, as we meet together, read your word, pray and move about our days. May our conversations be filled with your wisdom and grace. Help us to listen humbly and seek you in all things. (Each week we’ll be posting a prayer for the week. We’d love for you to join with us in your own prayer time.)

24.01.2022 This week we are praying for God’s vision Father, in the midst of uncertainty about what the future might hold, give us Your vision for Your church. We pray for Your Spirit to stir in each of our hearts a fresh sense of what You are doing in the world, our community and Your church. Please help us to be faithful in prayer and commit all of our plans to You, trusting in Your goodness and provision. Amen. (Each week we’ll be posting a prayer for the week. We’d love you to join us in your own prayer time).

24.01.2022 On behalf of the Tasmanian Anglican Church, in all the corners of this land, lutruwita, now called Tasmania, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the la...nd in which we reside, the palawa peoples. We acknowledge that this country was never ceded and that the treaty made in 1831 was never honoured. We pay our respects to the Elders past, present and emerging and commit our energies to building real relationships as we listen and learn from their ancient cultures. #NAIDOC2020

18.01.2022 This week we’re praying for each other. Father, may we each find the time to sit, to be still and come before You. May our hearts be quiet as we listen, read, pray and meditate on Your goodness and grace towards us each day. May we be filled with Your peace and inspired to share Your word with those around us. And Father, as a church may we be characterised by our commitment to pray often, to seek Your face and Your guidance in all of our words and actions. (Each week we’ll be posting a prayer for the week. We’d love you to join with us in your own prayer time).

18.01.2022 This week we’re praying for our 9:30am service. Father God, we praise and thank you for the St Clements community, and for three unique opportunities to gather together each Sunday. We praise you for so many new volunteers signing up to serve on rosters. We ask that you would continue to prompt congregation members in the next few weeks to explore how they can use their gifts to serve at 9:30.... Lord, we pray that the 9:30 congregation would become a close community that cares for each other deeply - so that all feel safe to open up and share both the joys and the stuggles we're experience in our lives. This week we pray for marriages in the 9:30 congregation. We pray that they would be strong, God-centred, and that all would act humbly and speak gently with their spouses. We pray especially for struggling marriages - that God would lift them up and partner with them (Matthew 11:28). (Each week we’ll be posting a prayer for the week. We’d love for you to join with us in your own prayer time.)

16.01.2022 This Sunday we embark on a new five week series on the book of First Samuel titled His Majesty. In this series, we will be exploring the life of Samuel, who helped navigate God’s people through a turbulent time and new leadership structure. Please join us in-person at 8am, 9:30am or 4:30pm, or live online at 4:30pm! www.stclementskingston.org.au

16.01.2022 This week we’re praying for our 8am service. Father God, we praise and thank you for the St Clements community, and for three opportunities to gather together each Sunday. We give thanks particularly for the camaraderie and joy of being together for our church family at the 8am service.... We pray for those who have not been in a position to return to face to face worship, especially those caring for ill spouses. We pray that you would help each member of this congregation to be forever conscious of extending the hand of friendship to the person arriving/sitting alone and/or to provide the welcome that extends into ongoing friendship, support and care. We ask also for your peace to continue to gently console, calm and comfort all widows and widowers. (Each week we’ll be posting a prayer for the week. We’d love for you to join with us in your own prayer time.)

12.01.2022 New seasons @ St Clements

11.01.2022 This week we’re praying for our 4:30pm service. Father God, we praise and thank you for the St Clements community, and for three unique opportunities to gather together each Sunday. Thank you for the encouraging launch of our 4:30 service earlier this year, and the wonderful way that the congregation has come back together and flourished since the relaunch in August. We thank you for the growing relationships between congregation members, and the newcomers we welcome each wee...k. We ask that you could continue to strengthen the community of the 4:30 congregation. Help each member to reach out to others, to connect, share and encourage one another. We pray that serving together would also help to grow these church family bonds. We thank you for Nick and his family, and the tireless way they have led and served the 4:30 congregation. We pray that you would uphold each of them, give them energy and wisdom, and draw them ever closer to you. We pray that you would also be with them as they rest and spend time together as a family. (Each week we’ll be posting a prayer for the week. We’d love for you to join with us in your own prayer time.)

10.01.2022 We’re live-streaming our 4.30 pm service in a few minutes - please feel free to click on the link and join us for church as we look at the theme of Unity www.stclementskingston.org.au #stclemsonline

09.01.2022 This week we’re praying for hearts of service. Father, we praise you that Jesus, the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Please help us, as followers of Jesus, to follow in his example of service. Reveal to each of us how we can serve one another and the community around us. Give us eyes to see people as you do, and hearts to love and serve beyond what we would be capable of without your Spirit. We pray that you would... grow our gifts for the service of your people and your kingdom. We ask that you would guide us as a church, to know best how we can best serve the community around us - in Kingborough, Tasmania and beyond. Help us to work in unity, as your body, to shine your light to those around us. Inspire us to be creative, practical and always grounded in your love as we reach out. (Each week we’ll be posting a prayer for the week. We’d love for you to join with us in your own prayer time.)

08.01.2022 This week we’re praying for the elderly in our community. Father God, we give you thanks for the older people in our community who are such a rich and valued part of who we are. We pray especially for all those who are experiencing difficulty, anxiety and loneliness as a result of the COVID situation. We pray for those who live in nursing homes who may be feeling isolated and missing family member who are unable to travel and visit. Father, we pray for Your presence, peace and protection for all involved. Amen. (Each week we’ll be posting a prayer for the week. We’d love you to join with us in your own prayer time).

07.01.2022 This week, we are praying for peace. Father, in the midst of our own hearts and our own lives, may Your peace rule. May we take everything that is the source of worry or anxiety and lay it at the foot of the cross, knowing that Your peace passes all understanding. And in a world that continues to battle with uncertainty, with conflict and unrest, may Your peace rest on the heads of those who make decisions to care for others. May Your peace reign in this world and in our hear...ts. Amen. (Each week we’ll be posting a prayer for the week. We’d love you to join us in your own prayer time).

07.01.2022 This week we’re praying for unity. Father, thank you that we are called to unity through Jesus as your people. We thank you that your plan for us is unity in Christ, and that we can look to your perfect unity as God - one and three. Please help us as we make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. Help us to celebrate diversity, to see and love each other as you see and love us. Help us to seek peace, justice and reconciliation wherever we go. ...Help us to reach out to all those around us, not just those who share our interests or worldview. Please fill us with your Spirit so that those around us can see what it is to BELONG and be UNITED as your people. (Each week we’ll be posting a prayer for the week. We’d love for you to join with us in your own prayer time.)

05.01.2022 Epic is back this Friday! This term we'll be exploring the book of Exodus as well as hanging out and having fun. Can't wait to see you there!

03.01.2022 This week we’re praying for communities all over the world. Father, as the COVID-19 outbreak continues to rage in different communities throughout the world, we pray that you would bring wisdom, patience and healing to all those affected. We pray for wisdom, compassion and good rest for leaders and healthcare professionals who continue the difficult task of shepherding their people and patients through this crisis.... We pray for healing for those directly affected by the virus. And we pray for wisdom and patience for community members whose lives continue to be impacted by the pandemic, in big and small ways. Be with each person as they navigate difficult decisions every day around physical, mental, relational and financial health. (Each week we’ll be posting a prayer for the week. We’d love for you to join with us in your own prayer time.)

01.01.2022 This week we’re praying for our children’s and youth ministries. Father, thank you so much for the children and youth of ministries at St Clements, and for so many volunteers who have worked hard to serve in so many different ways this year. Thank you for the Mainly Music program starting back on Tuesday this week, and our newly restarted Greenhouse and Lighthouse programs on Sundays. We pray for new and renewed connections between families, children and leaders, and many opp...ortunities to share Christ’s love. Please help children to settle quickly and newcomers to feel welcome. Thank you also for our youth programs, SAGA and EPIC which restarted last week. We pray that both programs would be places of fun and friendship, with chances for everyone to grow and explore what they believe. We pray particularly that our youth will see how our God is a rescuing God as they study Exodus! (Each week we’ll be posting a prayer for the week. We’d love for you to join with us in your own prayer time.)
