23.01.2022 Year 9 Food & Hospitality students are doing their part for the community by producing delicious, nutritious bulk meals to donate to Vincent de Paul Society 'Vinnies SA' through Fred’s Food Van. Fred's Food Van supports individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and marginalisation. This is part of the unit of work where students learn about the importance of food equity and the even distribution of nutritious foods. 60 slabs of food were donated. Brilliant work Ms Rouhana & Mrs Forbes Year 9 classes!

20.01.2022 Announcement It is with much regret that we inform you the Year 12 Graduation Dinner on Thursday 19 November has been cancelled due to the restrictions announced yesterday and the closure of the Entertainment Centre. We have been in contact with the venue this morning and have placed a tentative booking for Tuesday 8 December. We are hoping that by this date the restrictions will have been lifted. A letter has been sent home to Year 12 families with details on how to receive a refund if you’re unable to attend. We will keep you updated and look forward to celebrating with the Class of 2020.

18.01.2022 The Socceroos have shared this special video of St Columba College Alumni, Awer Mabil (Class of 2013), as part of their Generations of Australians series. In the video he sends a message to his mother Agot, recognising the sacrifices she has made for her family. His brothers and current students, Deng (Year 5) and David (Year 2), also make an appearance! Since graduating from St Columba College in 2013, Awer has represented Adelaide United and the Socceroos. He currently plays for FC Midtjylland in the Danish Supaliga. #StColumbaAlumni - stay connected by updating your contact details here: http://bit.ly/St_Columba_Alumni

14.01.2022 Remembrance Day Our Junior School held a Remembrance Day Service yesterday to honour those who have given their lives for their country in the name of peace. It involved a special visit from serving members of the Australian Army, including a bugle player and Catafalque Party. Lest We Forget

11.01.2022 Our Year 7 students danced into the week with a visit from One50 Dance. The workshop included stories, dance items, interactive dance times, and a special guest, Jahzeel Campbell, from the Nubian Gents in New York. The students got into the groove and learned some good life lessons at the same time. The focus of the workshop was about empowering young people to stop the spread of bullying, hate and discrimination. Encouraging young people that we can all play a role in building a kind, inclusive culture. Thanks One50 Dance crew!

11.01.2022 Happy World Teacher’s Day! Today we recognise the hard working and dedicated teachers who help shape the lives of our students. Thank you to the parents and students who have shared these kind messages.

10.01.2022 Congratulations to our Stage 2 Art & Tech Show exhibitors. This annual event showcases the outstanding work and student achievement for 2020 in the subject areas of Visual Art, Information Processing and Publishing and Material Products. Things may not have gone as planned this year, but our Year 12 students and teachers have done a brilliant job working towards this celebration. The display was set up in the Middle School Foyer yesterday for students to enjoy. There is some ...remarkable and eye-catching work on display. We also have an online exhibition for students and families. Login to SEQTA Engage and visit the Art & Tech Show 2020 Portal to view the complete collection of student work. Principal award winners will be announced shortly. Congratulations Year 12 students on your hard work, dedication and success in these subject areas.
