25.01.2022 Yesterday we held our inaugural House Badge Ceremony. All students in the College were given their house badges, with a special welcome to our new Yr 7 students. Yr 12 students from each house - Bradman, Chisholm, Gilroy, Henson, Lawrence, and MacKillop - presented badges to each Yr 7 student being inducted into their house. It was a special ceremony led by the Student Leadership Team who wanted to enhance house spirit and school pride. A great initiative which is the start of a new tradition.

24.01.2022 Each year, prior to the HSC exams, many parishes hold a Mass to bless and show their support to Year 12 students. This year, a livestream event has been organised. On Sunday 18 October at 8pm Bishop Vincent and a small team will be hosting a livestream event on Facebook HSC 2020 LIFTED Special. This is the link to the event: https://www.facebook.com/catholicyouthparra/videos/263123708302585/... This event aims to give Year 12 students, their families, and our Diocesan community a short window of opportunity to celebrate their dedication and perseverance during a difficult year before their first exam on Tuesday. The livestream (but pre-recorded) will feature messages of support from Year 6 students and clergy, music, scripture, appearances by some Year 12 graduates, and a reflection and blessing from Bishop Vincent over a 25-minute period. We invite all members of our community to join in this event.

16.01.2022 St Columbas has been honoured to participate in the Springwood Anzac Day March and Commemorative Ceremony for many years. The March has regularly been attended by up to 100 students and staff, with many others having roles at services throughout the Mountains. Many students have proudly represented their school and their families every year of both their Primary and Secondary schooling. Whilst this years March and Ceremony will not take place, we all still have the opportuni...ty to commemorate those who have served our Country and those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice by losing their life, by holding your own commemorative event. Send a private message to this page with a photo of how you commemorated Anzac Day 2020 and we will compile a collage of how we were still able to recognise this special day as a community. As always, certificates and merits will be awarded to those students who have represented our community, this year by posting your commemorative photos.
15.01.2022 Yesterday we came together to commemorate all those who have died in wars and conflicts.
