21.01.2022 And we are away with Shave for a cure for this year.

20.01.2022 Congratulations and thank you to all the staff at St Columba’s on World Teachers Day.

17.01.2022 As well as celebrating the wonderful efforts of our talented Piano students and those shaving their heads for a great cause, which were both sadly, spectator free events, today also marked a wonderful celebration for many St. Columba’s mums at the annual St. Columba’s Mothers’ lunch, held this year under strict COVID-safe guidelines at Gambaro’s restaurant. As the uncertainty of the year prevented the confirmation of this event until only very recently, our lovely organizers... Maggie & Beck had to contend with many challenges to even get this event off the ground, and in a short space of time. They did a sensational job, and we thank them both most sincerely for their time and efforts in bringing this community-building event to fruition! Congratulations! Super job ladies!

17.01.2022 And there’s more

16.01.2022 Welcome everyone to Week 8! This will be the Tuckshop's last operating week for the school year. Stocks will be limited in this final week as we prepare to clean the tuckshop and clear all fridges and freezers over the break. Sushi on Friday will still be available. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank convenor Rebecca Yates, and all of the wonderful Tuckshop volunteers for the excellent care and service they have provided to the community, despite many challenge...s in 2020. Thank you for your understanding with these end of year Tuckshop arrangements. See more

15.01.2022 May we remember today all those who have died as a result of War. God give us peace. Help us to lift our eyes above the torment of this broken world, and grant us the grace to pray for those who wish us harm. As we honour the past, may we put our faith in the future; for you are the source of life and hope, now and forever. Amen. ... Lest We Forget.

14.01.2022 The first lot of brave volunteers.

13.01.2022 You may remember last year we started a collection of unwanted / old / broken / empty writing instruments to be taken for recycling at the end of the school year? Thanks to Terracycle and our St. Columba's Green Team, once again we will be taking all of these unwanted items to an official collection point for recycling. It's a fabulous initiative, and one which we've agreed as a school to support each year as part of our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainabili...ty. Therefore, as the last days draw nearer, an empty box has been placed in the reception area for all of these items from either yourselves or the children. Remember it is mainly plastic items, such as pens, highlighters, textas, zooms, liquid paper pens etc that no longer work or are broken. We would appreciate your support in encouraging your child/ren to donate any of their unwanted / old / broken / empty writing instruments to the collection box. Thank you for your anticipated support of this initiative!

12.01.2022 Wishing you all peace and joy this Christmas season.

06.01.2022 It was all about yesteryear last Friday for our Year 3 students, who were simply bursting with excitement about being able to go on their first excursion for the year, to Caboolture Historical Village. The children experienced just how life would have been for some of their grandparents or great grandparents, with the help of their fabulous teachers and the wonderful volunteer staff at the village. There were even a gang of Bushrangers who held up the train, much to the e...xcitement of the children! Some went to gaol, and everyone sang God Save the King, reminiscent of the times! It was surely a day that won’t be forgotten very quickly! Thanks to all the wonderful staff who made this excursion possible for our students.
