Running on Friday afternoons each workshop uses art and creative writing to explore different aspects of ourselves, including: Self-gratitude Your unique self Modifying moods and thoughts... 19.01.2022 THRIFT SHOP CLOSED - Due to the unfolding situation with local Covid-19 cases, we have decided to close the Thrift Shop for today and Friday for the safety of our volunteers and to allow time to assess the situation. Hopefully we will be open again on Monday! Stay safe everyone, and remember to keep up with the social distancing and hand washing, and get tested if you have symptoms!

12.01.2022 Come on down to the Neighbourhood Centre for the opening of our Painting for Pleasure art exhibition! There are lots of great works by local artists, and some craft as well! Graham Perrett MP will be joining us at 10.30am for the official opening.

07.01.2022 Our Painting for Pleasure exhibition is continuing this week and there are lots of artworks still for sale. Tomorrow the Painting for Pleasure group will be hosting an art tutorial so if you are keen to learn more about the group feel free to drop in to the Centre between 9.30am and 12.00pm to meet the artists.

St David's Uniting Church, in conjunction with St David's Neighbourhood Centre are hosting a Blue Christmas service. This is a gentle, contemplative, honest and hope bearing opportunity. 03.01.2022 For the month of January, St David’s Neighbourhood Centre has the chance to win $300 for our community in the Grill’d Local Matters promotion at Westfield Garden City, Upper Mt Gravatt. With every burger ordered, a Local Matters token is handed over for guests to drop into the jar of their choice. At the end of the month $500 is split between the groups ($300 for 1st, $100 for 2nd and 3rd), with a total of $70,000 given back to the community every month. So get along to Grill’d Garden City, during January to show us some support!
