25.01.2022 Worth a read - and if you are part of the congregation of St David's feel free to comment either here on facebook or by having a chat with Rev Janie.

24.01.2022 A day late, but that might be a good thing. Days like Fathers’ Day can be complicated. Sending love however you find the day.

23.01.2022 https://youtu.be/_Vt9kQdChng Take up your cross, Jesus said. Save your life by laying it down. Being like Jesus to the world who otherwise won't see Him. All these things and more are part of today's service. Join us, won't you?

22.01.2022 This weekend's worship is all about the abundant gifts we've been given - resources that will be amplified by the empowering presence of God's Holy Spirit as we step out. Please join us for worship. Here's the link: https://youtu.be/4hfiMePPlwI

19.01.2022 There are some very artistic and creative people at our Care and Share group - meeting for the very first time this morning for a long time. Lovely to see their smiling faces and their stellar flower arrangement efforts.

18.01.2022 Here's the link to online worship. If however you'd like to join in-person worship book in or send me a text and I'll do it for you. https://youtu.be/9hoVCRGQPhw

18.01.2022 The weekend gallops around again and once again our Gospel reading has something timely for us to reflect upon. Join us for worship in person at St David's (by registering your intention) or by using the link on line. God bless you all. https://youtu.be/nXXi-G-WJlw

17.01.2022 Not everyone finds Christmas a time of joy. For those experiencing grief and loss, it can feel particularly empty. St David's Uniting Church, in conjunction with St David's Neighbourhood Centre are hosting a Blue Christmas service. This is a gentle, contemplative, honest and hope bearing opportunity. If you or someone you know could benefit by this please register your intention with the Neighbourhood Centre. Blue Christmas 3 December @ 11am. All welcome

16.01.2022 Are you prone to anticipation or have we become stuck in the rut of 'same old, same old'? Join us in engaging in worship, if you will, this weekend. We'd love it if you did.https://youtu.be/rC-zY7Agxmk

16.01.2022 Janie writes: This weekend's worship is up and ready to go. Please join us. The Gospel passage was one that brought me to a place of fresh learning and challenge. Oh, and the pic here is a special feature highlighting the work of MAF - Mission Aviation Fellowship.

15.01.2022 As the weekend rolls around again, we have an opportunity to look at what a heart of mercy looks like. We'd love it if you joined us for worship.

08.01.2022 And yet God is with us.

08.01.2022 Rev Janie writes: We went back to face to face worship this morning for the first time in just over 6 months. Where clearly worship on a weekly (and privately, daily) has continued to be my practice during that time, I like others, had changed my Sunday morning routine. Now returning, Sunday mornings mean getting dressed to gather with others. It means disciplining my time. It has forced me to confront just how the convenience of engaging on line (with my own Church and other... churches) has reshaped what it means to belong to a particular body of believers. And it challenges me to think afresh about what my faith looks like missionally, corporately and personally. Has a protracted period of on line worship created a void in which priorities have changed? is any of that change a good thing? Having broken what could have simply been a habit based church attendance, how can it now reboot for our church as something that has a more missional based focus than it did before? Comments sincerely welcome. See more

06.01.2022 On line worship is now prepared and ready to engage AND we are inviting folk to register for in-person worship on Sunday if that suits. It's all about the vineyard. Here's the link https://youtu.be/4XETxu1nXL4

06.01.2022 The link is up and ready for worship this week. Join me in the vineyard for yet another thought provoking Gospel reading. https://youtu.be/fTjFX_2uxb8

04.01.2022 Taken from NSW Synod's Insights Magazine. I ask that you read and consider and that if you respond that you do so with civility and respect.

03.01.2022 Congratulations to the St David's Neighbourhood Centre and art group for hosting an excellent Art Show. There were portraits that could have passed for photographs, landscapes that took you to wonderful places and so much more. Even Miss Melanie's Stay n Play group got into the swing.
